even psychiatrists (compared to other MDs) are criminally underpaid/are in the least prestigious medical specialty there is. these are people who went through eight years of post-bac training at least to make about $150k a yr. not that that's bad by any means (it's pretty great) but compared to other career paths most psychiatrists could have taken it's not a ton. a lot of psychiatrists could easily have been anesthesiologists/radiologists/surgeons and made 2x as much. i'd say you have to have a passion for it. as mentioned social workers/therapists etc get even more screwed pay-wise.

anyway reading this thread as a relatively psychologically healthy person has been really helpful. psychiatric disorders are way more common than we realize bc of stigma/privacy/societal pressure and it's always good to remember that we often have no idea what the person next to us is going through. get better y'all and get the help you need

Really nice tightly knit cotton with a great texture. I know some of y'all are down on cotton knits but this one is spectacular and the gradient is superb. Would keep but have too many knits and this one is just a tad short for me at 5'11" with a short torso. Should work for anyone even slightly shorter.

Really nice trousers, extremely comfortable. Heavy and warm with a slightly more relaxed cut. Classic OL. Hemmed to a 30" inseam with 1.5" cuffs, look fantastic with boots.

Thick leather, seems much more durable and high quality than I would’ve expected from this collab. Worn about five times. Not really my style these days, looking to switch to a pair of lace ups.

Alpha Industries Japan Peacoat Size S 9/10 $75 SHIPPED

This peacoat was made for the Japan market only, and features a slimmer fit and thick, melton wool in deep navy. The melton wool is extremely warm, and this is probably my warmest coat. Great water resistance too. Will fit a 34-36 depending on desired fit. I’m a 36 and can layer a shirt and sweater under this just fine.
