The $98 raw selvedge model.
Which was then closed out at $24, which I was real happy about. Good to see what they'll look like in a few more months.

i just sold my old/too small s7000vx's and snatched the last pair from gordon, i went up 1 or 2 sizes from my natural waist for a loose ass, comfy ass, workwear lookin ass fit naw mean? theyre so anti-sufu fit, i think im going to show them lotsa love. theyre so breezy, prolly be the only jeans i wear this summer im starting to think. in the wash now, photos later
I'm really liking your old 7000vx's, too. The details are just awesome. Selvage everywhere, the iron donut buttons with the trees are great, especially with suspenders on.
They're getting a little bigger after a few days wear, and I'm planning to get a little smaller over the summer, so we should get along just fine.
I don't know about 17oz denim in the summertime, though. I think these'll be waiting 'till fall to get a lot of use. I've got some cutoff LVC 201s for summertime.

I think the current 501 STF fit is just fine, but then I'm one of those people who likes to run and jump and climb on things and sit on the ground without my testicles getting squashed.
So if that sounds like you, give them a try. You could do worse things with thirty bucks.

This is a really good one:

Awesome boots, Bill. I'm not sure how much longer I can resist getting a pair of White's.

Some shoemaking videos.
Thanks shoreman.
Interesting videos. They really illustrate the class divide between those who will wear these shoes and those who make them.
I'd love to see a video like this from a Chinese factory and an American factory.
I'd also like to see the homes of the workers in each, compared with the homes of the buyers.

I don't want to spam this thread.
Could've fooled me. This thread and a half a dozen others.

What are these???

Some kind of fakes or some kind of an alternative range we don't get in Europe?
I emailed the seller asking if they fakes and he basically called me a dumbass!!
They're the ones that Levis was blowing out at $25 a pair a few weeks ago. Not LVC.

Any update? Also, linseed oil can spontaneously combust...any issue there?

Is there a general 1930s and earlier styles thread someplace?
It seems like a handful of people around here more into suspenders and waxed canvas than multicolored hightop sneakers.
Personally, I nominate Cotton Duck to start such a thread if one does not exist.

Or, save yourself a bazillion dollars here.

We get it, Edmond. You don't like Kiya. Give it a rest before you get yourself banned again.

With the jeans and the type-3 jacket both, you could get this look goin' on:

It doesn't have an XX anywhere on it. I assume that its just preshrunk dark indigo...is there any way to find out without trying? The tag doesn't have the 10% shrinkage business that STF jeans have.

Kiya, will you be getting any Type 3 Jackets in this denim? The IH website says that they're making some.
