but i'm sure you've noticed cramming your team with 10+ players really puts a cramp on your freedom to accommodate favourable fixtures....

if by 10+ you mean their value, then yeah agreed, that's why i only really splurged on torres and arshavin, i tried to keep the squad balanced. but then again having one of those 10+ players is what could make any fixture featuring them favorable for you.

so i got fucking rejected from the university of minnesota-twin cities a few weeks ago. i'm still in a bit of shock. i guess i can't really compare with alot of the kidz on this board but my stats and credentials are really pretty solid imo. i got a 31 act with a 10 writing which is like top 2%, i take multiple ap classes and varsity sports, clubs, jobs, etc. the one thing killing me is my 3.0 roughly gpa which puts me about middle in my suburban high school class. i'm mostly just pissed off since they practically recruited me at the u of m with all the special apps, brochures, and invites to open houses and shit that they sent me. next step - apply to macalester college. i'm fully expecting to get rejected but i figure that a solid essay will help, since there was none as part of my u of m app. but at least i'm pretty much guaranteed into any of the university of wisconsin schools other than madison. i could maybe go to some cool LAC far away but i aint got the $$$ for it and it's just undergrad anyways. la crosse is a cool little town...

can anybody give me some input about the quality of the economics department od the university of wisconsin, madison? i am a graduate student at a german university and contemplating pursuing an academic career. i have the possibility to go there for a year. i am freed of any tuition fees whatsoever. even if its not the premium university, its probably still lengths better than here where some class sizes are in the range of several hundred people. also, how is the town / area? ive never been to the us.

madison is inmho one of the greatest places i've ever been to. i have no idea about the econ dept, but i can tell you that the uw is one of the best public schools in the world. having lived in madison for years i can assure you it's a beautiful, friendly place and also surprisingly diverse and active for having about 500K inhabitants. the university also churns out more CEOs than Harvard these days, and any university of wisconsin school is going to have one of the best programs around for aspiring educators so don't worry, a degree from there means alot. hope that helped. as someone who doesn't have the grades to go there, to someone who can go for free?! i say fuckin go for it man!

You clearly didn't read everything I said before.

They set funkily on one leg. They weren't set, then one day there were small creases and were set, but they looked bad. It was a night when I was out and it was raining so they got wet then I passed out in them. So I wanted to make them not look like shit.

it really shouldn't matter. if you fix them the way you want and then get them wet again they should settle in the way that you arranged them. i guess the worst case scenario is that you would need to iron out the bad creases and re-starch the area(or maybe not) and then do it or something?? it really should be a simple fix...

the best way is probably just to simply arrange them the way you want while you're wearing them and then spray the denim with a water-spreay-bottle-thing to get the starch activated so they'll set up that way.

senior as well. already applied to U of M twin cities - was basically recruited by them, sent letters, invited to an open house, got a special fast app with no essay that was half done and which i already sent in. really hoping to get in here as I realized that the cities are perfect for me at least for undergrad and the price can't be beat. i'm applying to the college of liberal arts for psych and i'm pretty confident about it because of my 31 ACT which is 5 points higher than the average for admitted students. along with my ACT my extra curriculars are my strong suits (swimming captain, multi-sport athelete, numerous clubs and jobs). my grades are embarrassing but im hoping that because they put that much effort into getting me to apply i should be sittin' pretty. worst case scenario is that i get rejected and i end up at some UW school, either eau claire or madison probably, which would be totally fine with me.

different names for the same thing basically. there's some great examples of what would be more accurately called fish nets in the gallery on the nudie site. and no, it can happen on any jeans, for example there are ralf's on there with intense fish nets, though it's impossible to say how tight or loose they were worn.
