  1. I'm excited that the Naval theme stuff is coming back for the F/W 10. I thought the motorcycle stuff was pretty cool, but I'm more into the military type style myself.

  2. the SP version has gold selvage, the A is upside down on the red tab, and comes in a box....there might be more, sorry I only took a quick look at it, I'm about to run out the door to catch my bus.

  3. Thanks for all the replies, I'll give them a call when I'm on break.

I've thought about doing a custom order through CDW on the parkas before, but I've read that some people the custom orders costs more, I'll have to decide if I still want the DQM version after I call and find out how much it is.

Edit: I'm also trying to decide between the DQM parka or the Supreme ripstop parka, so I guess I've gotta figure that out too.

  4. I'm an idiot I wanted one of those foul weather coats and I thought Self Edge was completely sold out of them. Didn't know they still had one left, I probably would have bought it if I knew during last weekend's sale.

  5. this brand/store looks very interesting, I'd love to see close ups of more of their products. The work/chore coat in the pics of their store on their website looks very good.

  6. I just saw the first video (thanks for the link), it was interesting I'd like to watch the whole thing sometime. But, mainly they were looking into items sold in Korea as Evisu products. Evisu and Yamane were upset because they were selling low quality products with their name and logos on it (Yamane said if its high quality product that competes against Evisu then bring it on and lets compete).

What they were showing (other than the first shop in Osaka, a real Evisu shop) are shops in Korea that claim they are Evisu shops and sell Evisu items, but they all say made in Korea on them. The Korean company also advertises on buses and has ads with Korean celebs on them.

They also talked to an employee at one of the shops and she said that its different from Japanese Evisu and its a made in Korea version. Then they walked around the streets to ask the people "do you know what brand this is?" and "do you know what country the brand is from?" and they all thought it was from Japan.

The first video cuts off when the narrator says "the reason the company can get away with this is because...."

  7. Wow Kiya, that's quite a steal!

Spend $200 and get a free $190 shirt? I really wish I could make an in-store purchase, but I'm all the way in TX =(

I'm with you, I wish I could make an in-store purchase as well. I was super excited when I saw that part about the free shirt, until I got to the last part about in-store only.
