  1. Another fucking retarded situation I'm facing.

    There's one J-beezy I'm interested.

    We went out on a lunch date. Lunch --> sangria + cake.

    It was a success (I hope).

    I scheduled a dinner date with her for this Friday (decided two days ago).

    She fucking tells me that she wants to bring a friend to the dinner.

    I usually just say something like.

    友達連れてくるの? 友達とか連れてくる前にもっと「Name]ちゃんと二人で遊びたかったなぁ。 ほら、今度俺も友達を呼ぶからみんなどっか[insert something]

    (your bringing your friend? I was thinking we should get to know eachother a little better before you bring a friend. how about this, next time I'll invite my friend and all of us can....[insert something]

    I

  2. Thanks for the translation ArtSky, will rep when I can. I've gotten quite a bit of help on this issue and here's what I've gotten from people who tried it on - only applicable to the jacket I'm talking about.

    All sizes are approximately 1/2 smaller than you'd expect even from Japanese brands (e.g. Julius). As an example, Profmonnituff told me he's normally a large and that a 4 was very tight and a 5 was normal fit.

    1 = XS-XXS (read: extra small leaning toward xxs)

    2 = S-XS

    3 = M-S

    4 = L-M

    5 = XL-L

    I own 4 pieces from them, all but one are in size 1 so I don't think i can agree with that! for reference I'm 172cm 63klg, small yeah but nowhere near xxs small.

    In julius, Viridi anne and attachment I'm a 1, in udcvr and in n(n) im a 2, so at least from my experience both udcvr and n(n) run smaller then va.

    check this out, not the same type of shirts but the bottom one is viridi anne size 2 the middle one in an undercover T size 2 and the top is an Attachment T size 1. the viridi anne is the largest. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3399/3187528671_d102e365d5_b.jpghttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/3188375382_528b769f77_b.jpg

  3. Can anyone speak to the sizing of this jacket? I've heard

    1 = xxs

    2 = xs

    3 = s

    Correct?

    Not sure about that particular jacket but the sizing should be as posted.

    Also there sizes run big from my experience, I don’t think they even make an XS.

  4. They won't shrink remotely as much, and the end result will invariably be softer + therefore more conducive to stretching than the 3001's. My feeling - though I don't know since they've changed the its dying process - is that you should only size up 1 on the 4001, however, if you had an opportunity to try them on first, and the inevitably conscientious Japanese salesperson still told you to size up 2, then I might trust his/her advice. And yes, that amount of bleeding is totally normal, particularly during a hot soak.

    Thanks for the advise guys. My true waist is between 29-30 (I have 2 pairs of 29 Diors) but when I tried on the 30’s I almost couldn’t get them over my thighs so I went up to a 31 which fit almost just right but slightly big and that’s when I asked the salesman and he insisted they will shrink 2 sizes in the waist and 8cm in length/2-4cm in the leg width. I’m not sure if these are a new dye but he said they had just got them in and they had allot in stock.

    I’ll post some fit pics soon

  5. i dunno about flathead, but i usually like to soak mine inside out. not sure if it makes a lot of difference or not.

    Maybe I should have done that….

    There still wet but they don’t look like they faded much so maybe it’s cool. I’ll post a pic after they dry

  6. I bought my first pair of Flatheads last night in Ueno, the guy insisted I size up 2 sizes so I ended up getting sz32 4001.

    How much should these bleed in the first soak? I put them in the bathtub with about 5 inches of water and this is what it looked like.

    I only did a 30 minute hot soak so this seems a bit much.:confused:

  7. I've never used my CC outside of the US of A.

    Please educate me cause im a complete retard.

    Am I going to incur some kind of international transaction fee?

    or would i just get charged the amount according to the exchange rate

    21000 yen deminz = 194 USD?!

    I always got charged like $25 transaction fee or they’d give me a horrible exchange rate plus $10 fee.

    If you got a check card/debit card with a Visa, etc logo on it just go over to a post office ATM and withdraw money theres no charge. You might have to call your bank first though and make sure they know your traveling, I got mine blocked one time.

  8. Yeah, we are.

    I met this girl from LB once. She was like 26, short, a little thick with light brown hair. Apparently she lived in the US for like 6 years and had just broke up with her bf so was feeling a little down. anyways the bitch got me drunk and dragged me off to a hotel, I felt like such a slut after that. But I didn’t pay shit the whole night so couldn’t complain too much.

    so yeah, were sluts here.

  9. Just my opinion,

    Ginza or Omotesando > Park Avenue

    Shibuya or Shinjuku > Times Square

    Wall Street > Nihonbashi

    Tokyo Population, Food, Efficiency, Safety, Sex Industry, Public Transportation > New York

    New York Concerts, Multiculturalism, Clubs, Art, Chances of a Natural Disaster> Tokyo

    Have to agree with just about everything but I miss NY 24 hour subway and NY just feels more metropolitan. Lately I’m just skipping the Subway and using Taxis all the time but with the Sub Prime shit they be cutting back at work and wont let us charge it back.

    I wonder if cabs in NY are more expensive then Tokyo, I never really bothered to look before.

  10. So its friday and the markets are dull. But usually when I'm busy and gotta work late nights, I do it the banker way and grab bento. I usually hit up the 5th floor Lawson in Mori tower. Thing that sucks is that they don't sell gohan-bento, its all this new-age bullshit for the women, sorta like Natural Lawson. All noodles and salad and shit. I hate that. Need carbs and supersaturated-fats!

    Anyways, I wanna know your favorite conbini food is.

    Here are mine:

    Meiji Macadamia Nuts

    200607031310000.jpg

    We have those in our vending machine so Id be eating them when I have to work late, we also have a Häagen-Dazs machine so I get that sometime too.

    I was kinda pissed they took out the AM-PM from 5th floor and put in that Lawson, if you want variety you have to walk to the AM-PM in front of the Grand Hyatt now.

    Anyways AM-PM had a good pastrami sandwich and a chicken salad that wasn’t bad.

    Lately I’ve been just grabbing bento down in metro hat, for sushi that Genji place isn’t half bad either.

  11. holy hell thats amazing, i think i just found my watch. but with black face. how much is it? CDN dollars. 3200? 3500? 4000?

    If you look around you can get a fairly good price, maybe 2500-3000CDN

    I seriously considered one but decided the Omega was a better deal for an everyday watch. I’m now saving for a Daytona.
