28 NS / 5'7" / I sized down about 3 sizes. A little uncomfortable at first, but these stretch out A LOT and will conform to your body.

I think you should go for a 30 if your thighs are not that huge.

My thighs measure at 10.75"

At a 30.5" true waist, should I consider a tagged 30 or 31 for the 310s? According to the SE site, a tagged 30 has a waist of 31".

The only thing that bothers me is how the knees look. You can see the areas around the knees where the denim just bulges out. Will a short soak loosen up the denim and make this go away?

I'm around that same height and I hemmed my Dukes to a 34". Stacking still looks good, just not as crazily bunched up as some people wear them.

Does anyone have pictures of a pair of faded Imperial Dukes in black? I've seen a couple of finished indigo Dukes but haven't seen a pair of black ones yet.

Nah, they don't feel loose. I'm guessing that Imperial denim is just a lot softer than the raw denim that I'm used to. Thanks for the input.

It's fine to hem Dukes before a pre-soak or a wash, right? I'd imagine so since they're sanforized denim, but I just wanna make sure.

Hey, I have a question about Heritage denim. I saw a really cheap pair today and bought them. They were pretty stiff so I was wondering if I could treat them the same way I would my raw denim in hopes of some fading/creasing? I want to give my raws a break and maybe experiment with these. Any advice/info would be great. Thanks!
