Very excited about this, really thinking about getting a pair.

how exactly do you go about getting in this contest I may be in for a pair.

I really hope there is no post limit. Im really interested to join this contest and will contribute pictures and such of my jeans if in. I dont really think a members post count shows how they will contribute if competing in a contest. I actually think by allowing new members to join in contests such as this one is good for the new members by getting them acquainted with other members here and in a way bringing the old and new community of superfuture closer. I hope this makes a little sense.

Thanks for the help Midnight. The fact that the Rescues are such a true straight leg is one of the reasons I don't like them much. I guess a better question would be do the 5507's have a slight taper or true straight leg, which on my small calfs starts to look bootcut.

Is there a huge difference between the 5010xx and 5507xx since they are both slim jeans? I know 5507 fits bigger per say. I currently only have APC Rescue and want something slimmer im not sure if I should go with the 5010's or 5507's. I weigh in at 149-150 athletic build and about 5'7-5'8.

I really think Plongin making the jeans is a great idea. Cost effective and truely customizable. Either way I'd be in for a 47 Sugar Cane model.

Are you sure that thigh measurement is right

Up for sale is a pair of Nudie RRDS, worn for probably about 2 months total wear maybe not even that. They were washed once and then stored away. There is not much fading on the jeans. They still need to be worn, I am only selling because I've been neglecting them by just storing htem away. The cuffs are a little scraped up because I never got them hemmed. The inseam is about 32 I wear a 30. Therefor this isnt a problem if your short like me a hem job will fix that right up and the scraping will not be seen.

I didn't realize the rise was so high on the LVC 47's or else I would have snagged these.

yous are very knowledgeable about jeans therefore I am turning to you for help, if you could help me out. My waist measures around 33" which is weird since I have never worn above a 31 in jeans in my life and they all seem to fit right and they arent tight because thats just not my style however I do not mind fitted jeans if that makes sense. Anyway I wear a 30 in RRDS which is slim fitting but I probably should have went 31 which I may have liked better. I wear a 29 in APC Rescue which is now fairly loose after about a year of wear. With Japanese denim should I always just throw out a number on jeans such as I usually wear a 31 and go with whatever my waist measurement is, such as the case with Samurai 710's. I am interested in purchasing the indigo version of the Sammie 710 but do not know how to size it. I am afraid if I go 33 that thighs will be to big for me, I dont have big thighs or legs. I have an Athletic build so kind of muscular and most weight seems to be in me back section. If you can help me out at all that would be great. I searched most of the thread to try and find a answer and couldnt come up with anything difinitive, therefore I am asking for direct recommendations. BTW im about 5'8 155-160.. Thanks a lot fellas.

Im just confused because I've never worn anything past a 31, including Nudies and APC are 29 and could def go 28 after stretch. With Japenese denim do you just throw all sizing previous to japense denim out the window and go with what the waist measures?
