I was surprised/impressed by Chicago Chinatown.

At a place called lao bei jing (老北京）

xiao long bao: Taste was just under par of southern California xiao long baos, the actual wrapping of it was very well done, no spilled soup.

I was NOT impressed by Chicago's deep dish pizza. If you've ever been to Zacharies in Berkeley, CA, you've had the best deep dish imo.
