  1. C&J coniston boots. worn but in good condition. has some small flaws such as that there is a hole in the left boots tongue. wont affect wearability though and is not easily noticed.

size UK 8.5 E. i wear US 9.5 D in allen edmonds, UK 8.5 F in church's and these C&J boots are half a size too small.

    PRICE: 100 EUR / $140

(price new is above 350 euros)

im located in sweden, therefore shipping will be cheaper within europe. buyer pays actual shipping charges (around 20€ to EU or 30€ to US)

if you have any questions, please ask

those are so close to what my idea of the optimal pair of boots are... please, give me the details! for how long have you worn them, how did you wear them (hiking, running, walking...??), and how did you taken care of them? are they breaking down or will they be whole for several more years to come, of what you would guess?

  3. My Edward Green Galways, probably about 3yrs old. Double leather soles (I don't believe in rubber myself --- it reduces my pleasure :) ).

I've worn them all over Asia (Korea, Taiwan, Japan) in typhoon season, teaming with rain, etc., over rocky ground, the works.

wow. those boots are just in a class of its own. what i wonder is how have you taken care of them? also i have heard leather soles will break quite quickly in wet conditions but yours look just fine?

    Sorry about the blurred photos.

There are inscriptions on the inside about being made in Nashville, Tennessee. Considering I bought these in the middle of nowhere, and that the Label/Brand is "Jarman" does anyone have any clues or info about them.

I've given them no polishing or cleaning, because I liked how old and messy they were. and I gave them a bit of black polish once, to darken them but it's worn off a bit, adding to the mess. I am getting new laces for them though.

jesus! those are sooo nice. if its like it sounds like, that you can find alot more of this stuff, why not start selling on ebay or something? i think there is a big interest for this old kind of quality clothing/shoes. i know i'd buy something like these shoes you've got tthere. and for the price... buy some for me! anyone on this forum would pay at least 50 times the price you payed.
