  1. ^^those would be a good choice for you, you could go with a 29 in the cali.

As a note my skulls have stretched out to W31 and they sit comfortably. Would Julian Cali (black cot make any difference?) in W29 be too small? Not looking for a skinny fit, I want slim + stacks.

  2. I'm looking for some slim, tapered black denim. April 77's seem much too skinny, while Skulls 5010xx are not tapered enough. The best fit would probably be dior's but I'm not looking to spend nearly so much, I just need a black pair of denim in my cycle.

Would Julian Cali's (black cot) have a fit close to dior's? I'm pretty sure they're even slimmer. Any other recommendations for black denim, if not the Julian Cali's? Looking for slim (but not skinny-skin tight jeans).

And how would sizing be for the Julian cali black cots? I'm 30 in Skull 5010xx, the Skulls sit on my waist very comfortably, if not a little loose.

  3. To my knowledge they are on sale right now. Check the website for more details but I'm almost positive they will ship for sale items.

For some reason I always thought BB was in Canada and I couldn't call them...

But I found out BB is in Seattle hah. If anyone is interested you can call them and ask for them to send the sale items list to your email address. Free shipping on orders $100 or over. Sufu 20% discount on phone orders do not apply to sale items.

  4. Anyone know how the blackbird designer sale is? There are quite a few piece I want but there are no sale prices listed online. Will they even ship at sale prices, and any clue if the SuFu 20% phone order discount applies on top of sale prices?

  5. If I could I would have sized down another one...

Tagged 30, I'm true waist 31. But these skulls have stretched out so much that they're making me think I'm actually a true waist 29/30.

I could hardly get the buttons in after a hot soak. After two weeks these things sit a little too comfortably on my hips... somewhat saggy, but they're still tight on the thighs.

  6. I seriously think I've liked every version of killing me softly i've heard.

Rotary Connections cover of Soul Man is probably my favorite cover ever.

The Dirtbombs are the best coverband ever.

At Last sings my favorite covers of Killing Me Softly... cop'd their CD for the cover, as well as their Let's Stay Togethor cover.

Shitty youtube quality of the cover:

  7. It's about 45 minutes North East of San Francisco.

Just act like you are going to Sacramento from San Francisco and you'll hit Vallejo on the way.

There's a toll bridge to get into vallejo.

Trafffffic... I'd estimate closer to an hour, now that I think of it.

  8. Wondering why this thread doesn't already exist. Or do I suck at searching?

Anyway, what makes you feel like shit.

    - Getting jipped

    - Jumping into cold-as-fuck/stiff 19oz denim in the morning

    - Fail at ebay sniping

    - Blowing chunks

    - Realizing you have empty paypal/bank account till next paycheck

    - Frostbite. Cancer. Getting shot. Bleeding to death. (I don't think we need anymore of these in this thread - these obvious)

  9. Kiya posted up two places that seem cheap in the SExSufu party thread.

    Travel Information

Airports: SFO (San Francisco International Airport) 10 minutes via Taxi or BART

(Subway), OAK (Metropolitan Oakland International Airport) 35 minutes via Taxi or BART (subway), SJC (San Jose

International Airport) 50 minutes via Taxi

    Accommodations:

For those looking for an inexpensive and close place to stay near Self Edge:

    Elements Hotel and Hostel:

    http://www.medjoolsf.com/elements_home.html

Average rate per room 30 USD (per person), Elements is cheap, clean, hip, and near a massive amount of bars and amazing food.

    Phoenix Hotel:

    http://www.jdvhotels.com/phoenix/

Average rate per room is 109 USD, The Phoenix is where rock stars stay and trash rooms and throw their televisions into the pool. I’m serious. It’s beautiful and hectic, all at once.

Updates will be added to this original post as they become available.

Personally i'm very excited for this one mainly because of all the people i've heard coming from outside America for this event, it's going to be a fun and hectic 48 hours that weekend.

Also, Vallejo is about an 1 hour 15 minutes away from SF (but there is almost always traffic).

  10. could you define proxy? smh at myself

A proxy is a person who will be the middle man in purchasing an item you want.

In this case, you want a proxy in Japan where the 5000bk's are still in stock. You can find someone in the supermarket forum who is a japan proxy. They will pick up the Sammies for you. They will buy the jeans in japan, then ship them to you.

Most proxies charged a 10%-15% commision fee. Recently some of the better proxies are getting in trouble with legal issues (not sure, but SuFu is halting their proxy service), so if you don't mind paying the commision fee, I'd advise that you ask a proxy to help you out soon.

I know thatt Parachutes just did a proxy for Dino_Might! and helped him pick out a pair of sammies. Try pm'ing one of them for help.

  11. http://www.ipodbatteryfaq.com/

I think it's somewhat biased though, but it has relevant information. A ton of Apple/ipod forums have given me some insight on how to properly charge the battery so it doesn't die (ie, only charge when its around 10% battery life, never let batteries drain all the way, never leave the ipod plugged in while playing, etc), and I've followed their guidelines and have no troubles with a 2 year old nano.

But things may vary from model to model. Also, by the time two years comes around I'm sure there will be new ipods on the market that you'll have your eyes on... I know its about time for me to pick up a new one. Been looking at the iTouch since it came out.

    I'd say no to warranty.
