  1. Yeah, the dryer will work. I do this with ripstop and it set the inks fine. I have also done it with shirts. Yeah you should set the inks just because you are going to be sewing. I also use Speedball ink. it doesn't have to be in the dryer long maybe 15 minutes at the most 5-10 if in a hurry.

  3. all I'm saying is walk around chinatown there is a place that does it for ten bucks big spot. Damn I will try to remember the name the place is on a corner big spot maybe half a city block clean and fast.

  4. Yeah, I would say go to a chinatown barber in NY downtown chinatown-there is a good one, shit I forgot the name of the place it's on a corner pretty big spot has windows tons of chairs you pick your barber from a picture at the front desk. Charge around ten dollars do a damn good job or just go to a Japanese barber they might be familar with the cut.

  5. it depends on where you are looking. I have to go drink some pink champange on the porch check out those books there is also a good sylvester one as well the BAY-it is interesting to see his/her make up references, the bay had some gangster girls in the 50-60's? They listened to motown and crossdressed talk about interesting maybe that is it there really is not that much soul searching-looking for the references when this music is being made and most of it is looked upon as throw away music....

  6. it's just blah blah blah about the history of post punk really? want a book on the history of nite life? check out the last party/turn the beat around-the secret history of disco/ and love saves the day the history of dance music culture 1970-1979. there really are more as well as good records and places to check out the lists are endless. But can anyone claim to be an expert? Fuck Casiotone that shit sucks.

  7. Use a xerox machine to create a transparency-blow up/mess with the image. Old xerox machines are the best laser jet machines are okay=creates pixels you might like this-prep work is similar to developing an image for photography

    here are some pages-www.nomediakings.org/doityourself/howto_silkscreen_posters_and_shirts.html

do you need to know how to burn your screen?http://www.silkscreenbiz.com/learning/burning.htm

and pulling a print is pretty easy buy some ink at the store. Black is pretty messy reds and blues are easier to work with as well as yellow. I have my screens burned for me, although I do know how to do it it costs around twenty bucks and saves me the hassle of cleaning out my sink. The stuff will get everywhere although quite a few people work from home and use their bathtubs and stuff. Really go to kinkos they have transparency paper. You really just need to know how to work a copy machine.

  8. Yeah that stuff works. I have something similar while traveling-mix any type of lemon aid with ginger, ceyanne pepper, garlic, honey and your good to go. The pepper boosts the immune system good for sore throats tastes okay really not all that bad.

  9. I would say go with the Even Stevens in indigo or the SLIM JIMS the Even Steven are pretty forgiving similar to the NS. Personally I would say maybe get something else. The pockets on the Nudies are usually loud except for on the Even Stevens compared to the APC. The new Nom de Guerre has a pretty nice classic slim leg jean. Rag and Bone RB 15 5147 in indigo are very nice depends on how much you want to drop-construction that stuff. Skull's are really nice. If you check those out make sure to get the button fly. I am kinda just repeating stuff. I would say for the price and the quality of the denim go with the new Nom de Guerre the ones they just dropped for FALL07.
