Oh darn. Evisu ran out of stock of size 34 #2001 No.0...no news yet whether they are going to replenish it...damnnn.
0 -
Based on Evisu japan site measurement, it shrank approx. 2 inches, ie 5cm from the raw waist size and 10cm for length. For comparison, the site measurement is pretty accurate, I can vouched for that.
However, take note that for a No.0, Evisu at this stage is estimating the size and not confirmed as it is still pretty new as the last release was way back in 1999. Separately, although I am placing an order for a #2001 No.0 irregardless, I still curious about whether it will come at 17oz, which was the 1991 version weight. Also, would a "No.0" same denim material as, say, Sammies Zero Denim?

I copped my pair of no.0 2000 cut no.0 denim
should be here in 2 weeks!!!
Nice to hear you are getting a pair of No.0 too.
I am getting one as well since I had been waiting for nearly 9 years for their No.0 (last issued back in 1999?). I ordered #2001 cut instead, since I already got a pair of #2000 in No.1 Special.

my thoughts exactly. movie blogs and the sort hailed this movie "a cinematic revolution", which i believe is a bit over-the-top illustration of fanboy-ism.
kinda curious as to who they would select as the villian for batman3
i got my vote on catwoman.
Penquin? Riddler? Or will CN suprised us with someone other than the classic four?

oh so sexxxxxy:
Whoa! Anyone wants to proxy for me when this is released? Defintely on my "must buy" list for 09. Separately, I am curious if this is the same as the one found here, though the tag is different. http://tanakaya.pos.to/cgi-bin/eshop/evshopdat.cgi?SH=E&PT=b&CAT=JP2&ITM=!E22101

This is the back of those Deluxe jeans now, the black paint doesn't show up too well but this should look better with time:
Left pocket says 'ichiban', right pocket 'ebisu'.
Awesome pair CTB. I am really impressed with your collection thus far, especially with all these customised katakana, kanji you've been gettin. I am green with envy!

he brought to life what the joker was meant to be, not some gimmicky prankster like from some of the comics in the 80s and the movies prior to this. i really don't agree that another actor could have fit the role nearly as well.
I agreed that Ledger brought Joker to life on the silver screen. But some gimmicky prankster frrom comics in the 80s? I think you meant the 60s and 70s. You must have missed The Dark Knight Returns, Killing Jokes and Arkham Asylum. All published from the 80s. In fact, Nolan created this version based on those ground breaking renditions of the Joker.

Really looking forward on this one. Kudos to beatle and others, keep us posted on any developments.

^ Alright, definitely sending them in for hemming then. Can I expect that possible .5" from the waist? Might help with what Heflys mentioned.
I also liked that Hotei Fan style. The pair with the knot logo is on sale (same denim I think), but it's a little more garish than the low-key black gulls.

Why won't they ship to you?
I emailed them, they replied sayin that only their preset list of countries are available for inter shipment. They may expand the list, I am keeping my finger cross. Futhermore, some models are not available/yet to be offered between US and International.

Amazing fades, Cheep. BTW, how's the paints holding?

One of the anticipation is how CN gonna "explain" Joker's origin. From the teasers, he appeared to have slashed wound instead of au natural grin and "only" his facial skin seemed to suffer from the "MJ" effect.
"so many smiles... so many faces... all the same" - The Dark Knight Returns, 1986.

Ahh..one of the 7 lucky gods/goddess Heritage for summer 08. Nice. These may be sanforized...shrinkage will be minimal, max 0.5" to almost nil.
I am actually thinking of copping this one : http://shop.evisu.com/collections/mens/products/heritage-hotei-fan-jean
but I mentioned before in this thread, they don't ship to where I am currently stay
Haven't got a chance to own any green caste broken twill denim before.
Like the brown box wrangler version alot (Tek70 is one lucky guy).

Ah, they have arrived. They are the plain-pocket vintage cut jeans mentioned earlier. Macau made, which I didn't expect...but whatever. I'm new to this; I'll take a cost-effective step up. Gonna send them back for some hemming though. Evisu.com offered to middleman the chainstitching service, even though they don't offer it. Shipping gratis.
On a side note, I really, really like those Harvest logos. Are they embroidered? I don't suppose they are available on any top-shelf Evisu?
jyoni, wanna share the pic with us? what are "harvest" logos?

For the hell of it: fit pics of them recently (2 days ago). They feel tighter around the leg than when i first got them. Most likely going to soak them tomorrow
PM, it does look abit tighter than your first pic post. Nice fit overall dude.

I think this is bullshit, but Nolan isn't really doing cartoony movies like the last ones, so...maybe?
Holy Sh*t....CN really put my expectation on an all time high now...can't hardly wait for it.

whoa...the brown box evis. great stuff Tekrah70.

Sorry if this veered off topic. Received a number of offers via PMs, thanks but as quick blanket announcement, I have passed on the leather suspender (above pic) to my bro.
