Anyway, if my rockers are anything to go by the year might not be enough for impressive fades, mine are three months in and besides the wallet, cell phone, and falling off skateboard fades, they're pretty damn unfaded.

How're you measuring the sleeves? 33" seems way long.

I'm pretty sure I'm measuring them right, look at the mannequin, it's designed to bunch at the wrists.

if you do a warm/hot soak the inseam will shrink about an inch to an inch and a half and the waist will go down a size. this indigo is pretty stubborn and the color loss isn't that dramatic after the first soak, and i think you get better fading after the first wash, from my personal experience.

Incidentally, is there anything you can really do to minimize the inseam shrinkage?

from what google translate tells me, they make jeans with a 17oz denim, and use 0 size thread so the stitching looks nice and thick ( well it is ). Also they make a black denim that is rope dyed ( i think.. ) and is designed to fade.
