great, so I talked to the guy and he says it's not his problem. he's saying I shouldn't bitch about it and that it was 2 months ago so it doesn't matter anymore. he says they still have some value, they came with a receipt, and that he had no idea they were fakes. my response: i shouldn't bitch? 300 fucking dollars is a lot of money for me right now, especially if I pay for something that cost probably less than 50 to make, and yes, i'll bitch if that's what you call it, while i call it reasonable disturbance, that I didn't get real dbss. even if it was 2 months ago, it's still a problem, it doesn't just disappear. their value is shit compared to the real thing, the receipt is jack shit because you could've got one in Taiwan from the store you bought it from. and no idea they were fakes? look, you know the shit you're selling, and i specifically asked him twice before buying: are these legit, they are not fakes, right? i guess i'm a dumbass for trusting him, i'd think someone who works at that store would be of good repute, but seriously, am i so wrong as to want at least 250 back of the 300 i paid? and what kind of action can i take?

i agree most of it is really plain and doesn't compare to their debut stuff, and the shoes are meh, though this jacket i somewhat liked:

JackPhotography, I think the Bballs are lot more interesting and have more detail work, the others just look like vans chukka boots or my cheap vision super trick pair.

JL77, honestly, those are not my taste at all, but doing it objectively, the leather seems off, and the shape of the tip of the boot is too bulky for that style and in general it's a very simple boot for that much, you can do better I'm sure.

aw fuck, i think one of my dbss pairs is fake, luckily it's not the amazing blue ones. first questionables: stitching on the back of the midsole rubber, which i don't see on any others, thinner loops for the laces in the back upper, and the box is very shiny as well as it doesn't say on the white small label on the side the ¥ price, only says size and model and color white, but there was no white distressed, was there?

I wonder what material the fakes are made of, especially the leather. I'm guessing no one has both for comparison, but I assume Haggard that it's not very soft like deer skin of the real stuff. i'd be interested to know how quickly they break down, i mean, since they aren't authentic and are no where near is high quality

Hagbard, that's good, but you have any close ups? my first looksee deems the sole to be way to white and plasticky also the box is wrong. both mine had the top have flaps that went all the way down to the bottom of the box and the top didn't say walk this way

i've never seen real ones on ebay. if you paid like $100 or so then you got fakes. which i'd kinda be interested in seeing the pics of when you get them, for comparisons sake
