Hello blm14,
Thanks for the question. It's as measured from the top of the collar to the bottom of the shirt. However, I just re-measured it while laid out flat, and it's closer to 30 inches than 29.
Thanks,
Jason

Hello,
Thanks for the questions.
Yes, the sleeve is measured from middle of the back (just under the collar) to shoulder, and then to cuff; measurement is right at 36.5 inches.
The chest (pit to pit) measures between 49.5 - 50 inches.
Thanks,
Jason

SOLD
Hello,
I purchased this back when they first came out, and based upon the sizing, I snagged one of the very few XXXL's, thinking that it would shrink down to size. Unfortunately, it has just never gotten to the right fit on me; as a result, I'm going to go back and buy the XXL. Before I do that, though, I've promised myself that I'm going to have to sell this one first.
Here are the pics:
As can be seen, the shirt is in perfect (albeit a little wrinkled) condition, with little to no wear. The color looks a bit washed out in my photos, but in reality is a very pretty shade of blue; the color on Self Edge site is pretty much exactly how this one looks. I've worn it around several times, but always as a very loose shirt over a t-shirt. It has been hot soaked a couple of times; as a result, the measurements are now:
Chest: 25 inches
Shoulders: 21.5 inches
Length: 30 inches
Sleeve: 36.5 inches
Please note that the tag in the shirt reads XL. However, when I received it it had a handwritten tag that read "XXXL". Presumably, the run of shirts didn't come with printed tags that read higher than XL. Regardless, the measurements should be correct.
Retail price was $180, I'd like to get $85 shipped in CONUS. SOLD
Thanks,
Jason

If you're looking at this, I probably don't need to give you the background on these jeans. Extremely slubby, a combination of 50% Okinawa cotton and 50% Okinawa sugar cane produce this lightweight 13 oz. denim in a mid/low-rise, narrow-leg body.
I purchased these the day they came out. Frankly, though, they just sit in my closet. In the couple of months since I got them, they have been worn a total of 3 times, and never once outside the house. If I wear jeans, I put on either my Iron Hearts or my Flat Heads (and I still have a pair of Eternal 811's waiting in the wings). Additionally, the slubbiness just isn't my cup of tea. If I hold onto them, I have no doubt that I will eventually get around to wearing them, especially in the summer; however, at this point I think I would rather use the money for other purposes.
Pictures were taken with a combination of flash/no-flash.
These were hot soaked (in hot water) for about 45 minutes when I got them, so I believe the shrinkage is out of the way. Might there still be a little left if you work at it? Possibly, I'm no expert at this, but I would doubt any significant amount. Additionally, please note that these were chainstitch hemmed by Self Edge to 33 inches (I can already hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth over this ).
Measurements:
Waist: 18 inches
Thigh: 12.5 inches
Leg Opening: 8.75 inches
Inseam: 33 inches
Looking for SOLD, shipped in CONUS only to PayPal confirmed address.
Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.

I already purchased the SE chambray shirt, and am waiting for FedEx to deliver it. This picture is so good that it makes me think about buying a second one.

I see that the "Black Armor" riders jacket has gone on sale finally. Did anyone around here snag one (fit pics?)?

Ok, start.
And, done.
Thanks as always. Hope everyone has a fantastic time at the party!

I emailed them about 15 minutes ago and I'm patiently waiting for a reply
Technically (at least, according to the rules), I think we've got another hour until Self Edge starts accepting submissions.

Kiya,
As I recall, there was some discussion a couple of weeks ago about a Self-Edge brand chambray shirt. Are those going to be hitting the store soon, or did they completely sell out at the Inazuma Festival? And if so, is there a re-stock planned?
Thanks

Heh, I had no intention of buying these originally. However, after seeing the fit pics and reading these threads, I had to grab a pari.

woah great!!! hmm just wondering if you have any other worn in shirts to share. like the self edge black cone denim shirt, or the dry bones natural indigo shirt?
I've had the Self Edge black denim shirt for awhile now, and just snapped some pictures of it. It has worn in wonderfully, and in some of the close-ups you can see the blue starting to wear through:
And then, just for comparison purposes, here is a close-up of the FH Black Mint shirt:
Just an awesome feel to the fabric.

Flat Head Black Mint Shirt - Aging Differently
OK, FedEx just dropped mine off a few minutes ago.
Unfortunately, it's going to have to go back, because I'm just too big for a 44 (damn you, Flat Head, for not making them bigger!!), but with that said:
WOW, this shirt is incredible. The fabric is completely different from any I've felt before, and the combination of pattern/color with the snap buttons is just beautiful. I would wear this shirt to death if the fit was right for me.

I would buy it in a heartbeat, except I already have one of my own.

Oni Killer Chinos - 34 Waist - SOLD
I purchased these from BiG (where they are now sold out), as I wanted a lighter-colored chino for the summer. These are a 13 oz. Japanese Selvage Chino, made from left hand chino twill. They are lightweight and should soften considerably with wear. Unfortunately, they are just too tight in the thighs and upper block for me. I've worn them for several days while in the house, hoping they would loosen up, but it's just not happening. They have never been worn out of the house; I soaked them when they first arrived, but they have otherwise never been washed.
Measurements are as follows:
Waist: 17.25
Thigh: 12.25
Knee: 9.5
Hem: 8.5
Length: 31 (chainstitched by Big)
I purchased them for $175, I'm asking $120 - NOW SOLD shipped in CONUS.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask, and thanks for looking.
