  1. Looks good man. How tight are they around the waist? It looks like you MIGHT have been able to size down one more as they do stretch some. Personal preference though man.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm going back and forth on sizing down. They're not tight in the waist at all - I've got them sagged a bit in the pics and they're snug if I wear them there.

I don't want a super tight fit, and I'm more worried about the thighs. They're tight if I've got the jeans higher on my waist, but good when I sag them as in the pic.

I realized the pics are pretty dark, so here they are lightened up to show the details better:

  2. Thanks for the comments. The only issue I have is that I wore these wet and did some squats/lunges as I didn't want them to be too tight, and it seems like I stretched the hell out of the knees. Put some hot water on them last night and they seemed better when I put them on this morning, but have stretched right back out. Anything to be concerned about, or is this something that would have happened eventually regardless?

  5. i agree with percy, i personally dont wear/care for them, biggest reason being the cost to quality ratio seems way too unbalanced to me, but compared to most peoples taste in denim (most people of course excluding sufu) nudie is still pretty superior. but yeah, were snobs here, so they dont cut the mustard

No worries man, I agree that the denim itself isn't the best stuff out there. I like the fit - it's different than any of my other denim. I agree that at full price the value isn't there, and I'm sure many here feel that they're not worth it even heavily discounted. I just thought they were a nice fit so I figured I'd share. I would be interested in people's opinions of the fit, regardless of how you feel about Nudie as a whole.

Maybe these will cut the mustard with the denim snobs.

  6. fatchino - I had seen that, and your pics are what almost made me size down. What worried me was that I tried on a pair of s0120xj in size 30 that they had at BiG that had been heavily worn, and I couldn't get close to buttoning the waist.

At any rate, I bit the bullet and they're about an hour and 45 minutes into a soak. Going to pull them at 2 hours and throw them in the dryer...I'll post pics afterward.

edit - when I was in store, the s0110xj hadn't arrived yet. I also tried on a new pair of s0120xj in size 29 and couldn't button them.

  7. Hey fellas,

Just got my s0110xj in the mail. I was trying to decide between 30 and 31...went with 31, and I'm worried they might be a bit big. The waist is fine (just slightly tighter than I'd like), but the thighs are pretty loose and I'm wondering whether they'll shrink up enough. Here are some pics, any opinions?

and, for comparison, a pic of my RRDG that I really love the fit on to give an idea of what I'm looking for in the upper leg area:
