Just got fucked out of a place on Sudbury. So cheesed -- my gf and her roommate just signed the contract and then we are told afterwards that we're overqualified (its gov. development) by the landlords. Why the fuck would you have them sign a binding contract, accept our first/last and even give us keys. FUUUUUU.

Definitely going to do Clinton Street. It's fairly close to the stores I want to visit as well so that works out.

As for BBQ, I'll try my luck with the previously mentioned but the lounge situation, I'm not too sure how to describe it. Like.. somewhere I can wear casual shit or I can wear a nice shirt and not feel too out of place in either situation (probably going for post-dinner drinks). We're in our mid-20's as well if that helps.

In NYC for a couple of days in August and need a few recommendations if anyone would be so kind. I've been reading up on a bunch of foodie websites and most places are getting mixed reviews across the board or you need crazy reservations for them. I've been a few times but want to try something outside of the regular spots we hit. What we want:

- Rib joints

- Specialty brunch

- A good, casual lounge to have drinks mid-week
