  1. Query about Poutnik Knight coat sizing.....anyone with a medium or large who could shoot me p2p, s2s & sleeve length? Or even an opinion to size up or keep true to size (assuming a med=38 inch chest). Cheers.

  4. Fullcount brand 36 Made In Japan Cotton/Silk Shirt Mens Small Cream

Fullcount & Co Made in Japan cream 20% silk/ 80% cotton long sleeve button up shirt.

Shipping from Australia at your cost. To the US it would be about $23 USD, tracked, etc. Contact me an I can get you a firmer price.

Interesting sort of structured and slubby fabric, cream/off white with a little bit of dark flecks (see photos). I've never seen such a fabric, it's really cool (how do I find more like it?), but shirt is a little too small (swap with me for a 38!)

I think the shirt is in close to new condition (at least 8/10).

    Approx measurement (labeled 36):
    shoulder to shoulder: 17 inches
    pit to pit: 21.25 inches
rear length from bottom of collar: 27.5 inches
    sleeve: 23.5 inches

Don't hesitate with any questions. Thanks for looking!

Can someone who has had experience with Geom SFT kindly chime in? You could drop a note on the fit / comfort / mid layer adaptability / fits etc

I've had one a few months, but only worn it a couple of times so far (summer). It's my usual Veilance size (medium [but I'm a S in mainline Arc'teryx]), I'm a 38 chest but the stuff I've got or had sets medium to be my default size (Mionn blazers in S and M, Blazer LTs in S and L, Anion vest in S, Actuator in M, the shirts (Component and one I can't recall what it is) I've got seem to be okay for me in S tho'. My main fit issues with anything is the width of my back!?!

Anyway the fabric is not too obnoxiously loud (a bugbear of mine, does the Blazer LT fabric ever quiet down?), the sleeves are a little long for me, I don't like the way the collar stands up with the rollaway hood in it (maybe my neck is too short- I'm about 173cm/5'8" and 73kg/162lbs), the smaller of the internal pockets is on the left which is annoying to me. But overall I like it (but I did get it for decently cheap from someone in the same city). Upper arms are pretty roomy, nice patterning. Slight fleece lining, so the Arris or Actuator would be better when you want Goretex and exertion. I can't really see the jacket as a mid layer under something else, 1) I'm in a temperate zone, 2) it has no stretch and the material is closer to the Field Jacket in weight than Goretex Superlight. But I can easily fit a Small Arc'teryx Atom AR as a mid layer- due to the room upper arms. Adaptability wise (which for me is how do I like/enjoy the garment inside for social settings) I'm not so sure- since it's plastic it'll always look a bit raincoaty (but the cut/fit does offset that) and it isn't silent.

No fits, but ask away if you have more questions.

  10. Indisce 3/4 L Black available at peggsandsons.com for 50% off, and an additional 15% off with FURTHER15, and VAT is removed for relevant locales, and free international shipping for sales more than 250UKP. So it comes to 266UKP outside VAT relevant locales.

The actual URL resolves to include the string field-is-jacket-peat-17386 which made me laugh.

Update: they cancelled my order on a medium due to the cuff buttons being damaged. Hope whoever bought the L got a good deal.....

  11. SOLD Reigning Champ Sea to Sky Stow Away Hoodie [AUS]

Shipping from Australia at cost to destination. About $22 USD to the US, little more to UK/Europe, etc.

From Reigning Champ’s recent Sea to Sky collection, this jacket takes a classic silhouette from the Canadian brand and introduces performance fabric from Polartec. Made in Canada, the jacket is made from a cutting-edge water-resistant nylon that stretches for added mobility.

    DWR water-resistant stretch nylon
    Stow-away hood
    Made in Canada
    Flatlocked seams
    Articulated set-in / raglan sleeves
    YKK Aquaguard zipper
    In-seam zip pockets
    Rib cuffs and hem
    Taped collar
    Fabric: 93% Nylon, 7% Elastane

Condition: Good condition. Some pilling on the fleece of the collar (see photos). Non pet and smoking household.

    Approximate Measurements:
Shoulder to shoulder (rear): hybrid raglan/set-in sleeves means no seam at rear so I cannot really measure this. I need at least 17.5 inches in a rear shoulder, and this jacket is comfortable in that area, so it is equivalent to about 18-18.5 inches.
Chest width (pit-to-pit, front): 22 inches
    Rear length: 26 inches
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 25.5 inches

Thanks for looking! Any questions just ask.

the veilance main site offers free intl shipping and returns guys.

Not to ozzieland, seems to be limited to Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Swizterland, The Netherlands, UK, US. It's a start tho'

  13. Few questions:

    1. Align vs Actuator vs Arris - obviously different fabrics (Goretex Pro, Superlight, C-Knit), fits (Align being FW and bit looser), features, weights (~430g, ~280g, 330g) but would I be missing out on much with any one of those jackets? Temperate winters in Melbourne average 6c (42f) so not lots of layering needed. Is the Actuator too, too light?

    2. what colours were the Align available in? I can see black, yellow(?), grey (titanium?). Also ordessa- but what greeny colour is in these pics below?

    3. Partition through the years, someone said upthread:

I have the SS15 Partition coat with goretex 3L and it's quite noisy. Is it noticeably softer and quieter than this or other goretex coats in the previous veilance lines?

Anyone else think this about the Partition, new or old? Or about the Align, Arris or Actuator?

    Thanks!

I've been living in these since the snow started flying. Arcteryx Acrux SL GORE-Tex. Very good adhesion on everything but wet polished marble.

How did you size these? 'true' to your Nike size? (which for me is usually +0.5 my 'true' 'true' size) or the foot length scale on the Arc website? or...? I'm nowhere near a stockist.  Cheers.
