  1. this is what mine looked like post soak after sizing down one with 30's instead of 31's. If you look back further in the thread, you can see what they looked like pre soak. Those look really loose to me. I would go down at least one size from what you are wearing in the picture, just my 2 cents.

Yeah. I'm not going for a super slim fit with these because I already have the SEXI04s. I was going for just a slim-ish fit.

I'm still not sure what I want to do.

  2. Just got mine in the mail today. The jeans are beautiful, but they just don't fit me. For reference, I'm 6'0" and 160ish pounds. I have kind of wide hips so I decided to go with a larger size since these have a low rise. The rise was surprisingly comfortable, but it's probably because I had enough room to stick almost both of my hands flat against my body in the waistband.

I think that I should size down to at least a 32, but I'm thinking a 31 might even be better. As you can see I have pretty skinny thighs, so I'm pretty sure that I can fit a 31 in terms of the thigh room if they stretch out a little bit. I'm just a bit worried about how far the waist will stretch.

Any opinions would be appreciated. Kiya, what do you think I should do?

    Thanks

  3. Thanks for sharing your soaking and drying methods enojy.

Just a couple of questions for you:

    1. Did you notice any changes in the denim after putting them in the dryer? Like are the jeans softer, did they lose indigo in the dryer, etc.

    2. Do you have pre/post soak/dry measurements?

Sorry if I'm asking redundant questions, I'm hungover and can't think very straight.

    But thanks in advance.

  4. but even if you are in between sizes and the thigh might be either just perfect or even slightly small, it stretches doesnt it? so wouldnt it be ok to be a lil tight in the thighs and after wearing it out it will be right?

It all depends on the type of fit you want.

If you want a slimmer fit, then size down.

If you want more of a regular fit, then size true.

  5. Kiya didn't say stay true to size. where did you get that from?

I plan on getting the same size as my diors, which I sized down 2 for.

between the sizing chart on selfedge and kiya's post last page about ACTUAL post-soak measurements, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. . . except for the stretch, which I don't think anyone has a grasp on yet.

Yeah. The stretch is the only thing thing that I'm worried about. We'll see what happens though.
