    it's a combination of things

    the hunched posture makes him look sort of like degenerate

    the full beards has a sort of Ted Kaczynski vibe to it

    the glasses and neat hair of that particular style make people think of pedophiles and that sort of steve buscemi type, or maybe a serial killer, the kind that's really meticulous and ocd

    any one of these things in an ordinary person wouldn't be too offputting but when you combine them all in one individual and dress him in dark clothing the overall effect is one which makes you instinctively react with terror and disgust

    but i mean, no offense jwied, i'm sure you're a nice guy in person

    I don't think it has so much to do with the clothing. He's sitting like a cad on the edge of the bed, and the photo is from the perspective of a child.

    Isn't 'never forget' associated with the Holocaust? Isn't this just a little melodramatic?

    Levi's has a copyright and it moved to protect it. Japanese denim is still widely available. Levi's can cling to their past all it wants.

    Without the arcs and tabs dogma, quality denim houses will be free to create from whole cloth now. Have you seen Self Edge's Sugar Cane collab?

    Yoox's sizing snafu never matched their eBay shop's nonsense.

    A pair of trousers in euro 48 was not an american 32, xstyleshop considered it an american 38. They're trousers, not a coat!

    Yoox closed their eBay shop last month. Must have been a big headache all around.

    Most everything I've purchased from Yoox/xstyleshop has had some issue or other. I'm beginning to believe they traffic in seconds first...

    lucky #13 arrived today! i can't believe these only cost $100.

    i'm in the same boat as the guys above. these are smaller than expected.

    way too much drama in the previous thread and this one. mr finch is a bonafide artisan, and i really hope esef goes on to great success. it will be really hard for me to pass on whatever denim he creates next.

    and thanks to james nicholas for bringing this offering to my(our) attention!

    I'm a noob.

    The first pic is post-soak, the second is pre. Apologies for the bad camera. 1 hr lukewarm soak.

    Went against Kiya's advice, went with my true 32. I think it worked out well. Have about a 1/2 inch pinch room on the thigh, the top button took 20 minutes to punch through. Counting on getting some room back.
