  3. How hard is it to convert a bike with vertical dropouts?

Is it worth it or should I just purchase a cheap frame?

You won't be able to tension the chain properly with a vertical dropout. Save yourself the headache and just get a frame with a track dropout or find an old road bike with horizontal dropouts.

  4. thanks man.

i've got some mks gr-9's right now that are creaky as hell, anyone know if it's a good idea to take em apart and repack em, or just get a new set? i can't bring myself to buy $200 pedals for city riding

I had the same problem with my mks pedals. They creaked non stop so I just popped off the cap on the end and repacked it with grease. Spins silent now.

  5. so i dont get how "chain tensioning works"

been reading guides but seems way above my head w/o actually seeing it.

any one know how much bike shops would charge? :(

All you have to do is pull the chain side of the axle as far back as possible so that its super taut and then tighten it. After you do that to the chain side line up the other side of the axle and tighten the bolt. BAM done. You don't need to pay someone to do that.

  6. Is the Fab-Four website still shipping to America? or am I going to have to buy from SelfEdge/BiG?

You have to email them and then they'll send you an invoice and a log in password to pay for it through their website.

  7. So up for sale is my brand new flat head western shirt I bought from rakuten. I tried it on once and still have all tags and such. The tagged size is 40 but it fits like a 38 or a very slim 40. It is thermal lined on the inside so its extremely high quality feeling and lighter feeling than the normal houndstooths. I would love to keep this beautiful shirt but i need cash quick! So I'm looking for a quick sale! 150 shipped! in the US. Paypal or googlecheckout only.
