5 & 6 are optional, but the others are really good.
Stuff:1) When a girl knows how to order in a restaurant. She doesn't take forever to look at the menu or ask you 14 questions about what you're having, she knows how she wants her meat cooked, and she uses doesn't just get the lobster to be that bitch.
2) She laughs genuinely, even at people who aren't funny.
3) She knows about wine.
4) She closes her eyes when she dances.
5) She bakes cupcakes.
6) Coughs when smoking weed.

i received this postcard from samsikle a few days ago. wouldve posted earlier but ive been busy writing a paper and stuff so here it goes
finally yesterday this came in the mail.
i was too exited to take a picture before i cut it open
inside i found
a bag + paper hats from in-n-out burger. i used to work part time at a kfc years ago while at school. those paper hats evoked strange memories.
a japanese talking watch + battery. when i showed it to my friends daughter, she immediately claimed it as hers.
the pessimist's guide to life. i hope this didnt derive from my posts
a copy of the san jose mercury news and a nice letter.
thanks alot samsikle, nice and entertaining stuff! i hope my packet arrives soon.
me wearing the hat.

vodka not made from potatoes is not vodka. ordinary smirnoff black label is fine, several polish vodkas are also really good. if your cheap just buy absolut.

i am located in germany, too. creative work with the paypal receipt only works if there is no receipt included in the package, otherwise theyll automatically calculate and charge you taxes.
also, beware. this often works out when privately buying clothes from rather unknown labels. they know how to use he internet to double check prices, and they always check the ebay article numbers. if caught, you might get away with a small "ordnungswidrigkeit" fee, but if the guy is in bad mood you can also get the full tax fraud / forgery of documents deal.
from my experience, about two thirds of the time stuff went through without me being charged. but so far everytime i received something via ems, i got charged, no matter the declared value.

will you also be restocking the flathead houndstooth shirts?

my stuff is on its way to canada. itll take at least two weeks to arrive though, sorry. airmail for a package of such weight would have been 30€. blame dhl and its quasi-monopolistic position in germany.

Not sure if i wanna part with these. I have only worn them for two days, basically all the shrinkage is done with as i did a hot wash. I'll trade for a 28. Asking 310$ > 300$ > 290$ > 280$ shipped worldwide.
Mesurements:
waist 40cm
thigh 26cm
hem 17cm
inseam 89cm

any sizing advice on the SE05BSP, maybe compared to the 310?

not sure yet. i def need a pair of boots. i was looking at charles tyrwhitt boots, but decided to go for something less dressy, and from what ive heard about their quality i find the prices are quite steep. normal combat / corcoran boots look weird on me because they make my legs look ridicoulously short. the lifted toe box bothers me a little though.
also, id never buy these for full retail. they are discounted to about 400€.
yes or no?

im asking here because theres more knowledgeable people here than in the small questions thread. im considering buying a pair of discounted carpe diem boots. i am a 39/40 in most shoes, my foot measures 25cm. will a 39 be too big?

the new shops prices are steeper than at selfedge, and for people from other european countries - if you do not get hit by customs - its still alot cheaper to order from se with the free worldwide shipping. also they do only stock even sizes at the moment which is a big disadvantage.
one fact that i do not like about se though is that they only offer store credit refunds, sucks alot if you order something and it simply isnt what you had in mind.

At Self Edge rarely does anybody get hit with taxes, we mark all packages as a "gift" with an extremely low value declared.
Also, shipping is free worldwide.
As nice as this sounds, it is not in your hands if somebody gets charged with customs. Even if the package is declared gift and low value, its just a matter of luck if customs checks and opens your package or not. They know that everyone lies on the declaration form. If there is a receipt inside, they will automatically calculate and charge you customs. If not, you are asked to attend there and show them a receipt and a receipt for the payment made. This is at least the situation in Germany and i imagine it is similar in other european countries. The customs free value sadly is very low here. you pay another third of what you already paid.
And let me just say, because you might get away with faking stuff a few times - its not worth it. These people now learn how to use the internet properly, believe me, an investigation and being accused of tax fraud and forgery of documents is no fun.

could you post a fit pic? although i have worn pretty similar glasses before, its kinda weird to buy glasses without being able to try them on.

anybody looking to trade a 29 for a 28? probably not maybe ill just start wearing these regardless of the bulge issues.

30 might work too

Would prefer matte black, hit me up.

no, i think a 32 would be too tight. though they do stretch out, my exp is that they almost completely shrink back with every wash. if the waist is somewhat fitted now, dont go for a sz32.
