  1. hehe is it a dumb idea to start with these jeans? :o since I've never owned a pair of selvedged jeans before
I think its actually a good idea. They're sanforized so you won't have to worry much about sizing, they're reasonably priced for what you get, heavyweight denim, self edge was involved, sufu was involved, etc.
I think it'd be a fine pair to start on, cause if you don't like them after a month or so, you can easily make most of your money back selling them in the supermarket
    who wouldn't like raw denim??

If you read superdenim every time you come on the computer, I'm sure you will love raw denim, just make sure the fit is what you want.

    it was sorta following on.

  2. What ?? Which part of contest don't you understand ? These will be a special limited run..once in a lifetime ...and only raw..
just sell him yours after the comp and double the price! if you are the winner, treble it! :)
    hahahahahaha

um yeah that wassss a joke...

"Holy shit you take the cake for moron" neg rep

  3. just thought I'd throw this out there, and this is probably the place for it...

anyone want to trade a sz 32 1001 for a size 31? I think they may be a tad too big on me. One hot soak. No wear. No rush. Just checkin.

  4. zac, you get yours hemmed at all? clay at self edge looked at me like i was retarded when i told him i didn't want mine hemmed at all. haha.

    pics coming soon.

    nah man.

They are probs pretty near on 35 in length post soak.

my blister finally went away, and the button actually cut between my nail and thumb. I solved the tight top button by jamming a highlighter in there while they were wet. stretched it out enough to button.

Now everything has loosened up to just right.

I only found it hard the first time it's all good now.

  5. never hav ei ever experienced this much pain in my right hand's thumb then getting these fuckers on for the first time..

I'll say. They weren't too small after soak, just very hard to get the buttons in. Ouch my thumb.

  6. You could just try to use a damp paper towel or cloth and lightlyyy rub it on the spot to see if that did the trick. If not you could use a little bit of salsa to dye over the white so it didn't look like you got man juice on your thigh. To be honest though, it's hardly visible in those recent pictures. Don't even worry about it.

    don't rub, dab...!

but seriously, it looks fine in those pics...

  7. here are my flathead 1001 that came today, pre soak. Not sure when I will soak them. Wont start wearing them till I've worn my skulls a bit more. But I honestly love these jeans. Highly recommended.
