    i got in to a sold-out NOFX show in high school cause of some punk japanese band that were opening for them, can't remember the name, but they were in a bunch of snowboard videos back in the days. anyway, it was a great show, i'm really grateful to these guys. i don't know anything about japanese punk btw

    edit: i remember, the bank name was high-standard or something like that, not too good music if i remember correctly...

    You're not talking about Hi-Standard are you?

    This thread's a winner. Here's a tested formula... American Apparel, skinny black jeans, messy hair, creeper mustache, be in a band or be a dj, listen to mstrkrft or remixes of anything, have some coke (don't do any, it's for them), make a few back handed compliments about their fashion, and Enter With Precaution.

    Almost every pair of jeans that's "distressed" looking have been treated with chemicals, and hand sanded by people making $5/hr. Usually with those electrical sanders (like pictured above).
