They are Double Identity belt strap sneakers.

I think if he pulled the jeans from the cuffs without tucking them into the shoes so they stacked at the bottom, rather then the awkward way they current sit, this would look *a lot* better. The top and cardigan combo fits well and looks good. He's obviously going for some shoe + hat love, and I'm not a fan of those new looking hats. Just some minor adjustments and I doubt this would need to go into the worst thread. Feel free to disagree with me.

What is the term/name for the ripples/stripes/corrugation of corduroy? You know how some corduroys have them thick and others have them fine? I dunno how to describe them when I tell people that I like them thick.

It's called the 'wale'. Lower values are thicker. May also be referred to as 'wide-wale'.

Those scarfs are called shemaghs / keffiyah / etc. They look rediculous in that photo.

ive seen people put duct tape around the inside of the jeans so they don't bleed on shoes and socks

I have masking tape on the inside. Little less sticky then duct tape, though does take more care.
