  1. oh and also i'm a big fan of Puma underwear. i have their sport trunk and in addition to being dri-fit it is possibly the smallest piece of men's underwear short of a g-string ever made.

  2. Yeah, (I think) they were a bit brittle because I didn't get all the startch out in the first soak. The crotch is also starting to go

i don't know, i had the same thing happen to my honeycombs and i never starched my raw jeans before i washed them. the rips appeared after the first wash, but i've washed them a second time since then and the rips didn't get any worse. i was surprised, i wonder if super-tight honeycombs cause this to happen . . . ?

  3. yeah i vote for the stack too.

i don't own any nudie but i am also a 28 waist. my dry denim has stretched out a LOT, when i first bought them they were tight, it was uncomfortable to have them on, and by the end of 8 months without washing and wearing them every day, i always needed a belt or they would wind up halfway down my ass. i would say they stretched to about a 31 waist (but again this is another brand, not nudies, i just thought i'd post since we're both the same waist).

  4. depends entirely on the pair of jeans . . . and what i'm doing. i'm a teacher so it would be kind of weird if i turned around to write something on the board and my boxers were hanging out (this happened once and the students were all too quick to point it out).

my cheap mondays tight 45 min i wear at my hip bone because they have a longer rise and are too tight to sag, it just looks weird. my MTWTFSS i wear pretty low, like just under the top of my crack and at the top of my peen. my H&M Sliq are a little loose, i totally have to wear a belt with these or they fall off, sometimes they're halfway down my ass.

  5. Here are my Cheap Monday tight grey stonewashed. They have been worn about 15 times since I bought them and have not been washed (but they're not dry, they're pre-washed). I love these jeans. They fit tight but not uncomfortable thanks to the stretch.

    They are 30x34, I am 5'11" (180cm) and 125 lbs. (57kg)

  6. So, is anyone familiar with this store and their jeans? They make Cheap Monday but they also have a few other house brands. I recently broke in a pair of raw MTWTFSS skinny jeans. I wore them for 8 months almost every day before the first wash, and it's been 1 more month of more sporadic wear since then with no more washes. They are a lot higher-end than the Cheap Mondays (which I also have a pair of and love), the denim is made in Italy and pretty thick and the stitching feels like real stitching.

The fit is cool, they are definitely skinny but not crazy Cheap Monday skinny. Like everyone else's jeans, they stretched out a LOT before the first wash. They've stretched out again since the first wash but not as much as they did initially.

The store is also quite a scene, or at least it was in April when I was in Stockholm. It seemed like every cool kid from 15 to 35 in the city was there.

Check out the website at http://www.weekday.se (in English). You can't buy online, though.

  7. i bought a pair of grey stonewash cheap monday tight at the Barney's Co-op recently . . . when I was there the guy told me to size UP two from my normal size (i usually wear 28x34 and i bought 30x34). they haven't been washed yet but these aren't raw so i guess that won't affect things too much if i use cold water and air dry and stretch them out.

incidentally Barney's carries four different washes (including raw) and the guy said they ALL fit differently (even though they're all technically "tight").

    hope this helps . . .
