  1. i didn't really get the quote about washing, so please rephrase, and these things still bleed pretty bad , on my coin purse, my keychains, my socks even my kicks =_=...blue massacre lol

washing = better for the denim fabric by getting rid of microbes in the cloth/thread, more durability in the long run

i'll be washing/soaking mine in a week when i get to a place with better facilities since i sat on some random dirt today thats not coming off with spot cleaning. hopefully they wont bleed as much afterwards

  2. everytime i check this thread i look back on my jeans and appreciate the workmanship more and more! seeing all the details and pics are amazingly informative, the best thread on superdenim in awhile. +++rep if i could.

and i guess the difference in quality of japan and china jeans could just be price point that they're selling the jeans at. would it be safe to say that japanese denim mills charge a premium for the details, quality control, and training for their workers?

  3. Yeah, I did. Got two pair, proxied from Masataka, for 200usd, including the shipping. They are 14.5oz raw, sturdy, nice denim, sturdy looking patch and the stitching looks sold too. Can't tell you how they will wear yet. Still in the shipping bag they came to me in, although I did try them on. I have no idea why they were so cheap. First impression....get you some!

    did you use a proxy??

    and yes, pictures!!!

  4. why are people such dumbasses....epic fail (at life)

copy and pasted the pics for hilarity!

This is the terrifying moment a woman was attacked by a polar bear after jumping into its zoo enclosure.

The 32-year-old leapt over bars at Berlin Zoo during the bears' feeding time yesterday.

Despite six zookeepers' efforts to distract the four predators kept in the enclosure, the woman was bitten several times on her arms and legs.

The brave keepers eventually managed to push the bear away and pull the woman to safety.

She was bitten by one of the four older polar bears in the enclosure and not by the famous Knut, who took Germany by storm as a cub after he was hand-raised by a keeper.

It is not known why the woman pulled the dangerous stunt but she initially appeared to be elated as she swam towards a bear in the enclosure.

It is not easy to access the enclosure, which is surrounded by a fence, a line of prickly hedges and a wall.

Heiner Kloes, a zoo spokesman, said keepers pushed the huge bear away before pulling the woman out.

She was taken to a hospital for treatment where she is now recovering after undergoing surgery to heal her wounds.
