Both images show denim in their raw state, untouched by water. You do bring up a great point with variations in cotton and the entire weaving process. I've just never seen the 19 oz denim look the way it does in lot 17 so I'm quite surprised (I've seen 710 from Lot 13 and up...) and was wondering if there was something dramatic that Samurai is doing for their new lots. 

I guess if anything this can serve as a heads up for those looking to buy new 710xx

Not sure if this has been touched on before...didn't see anything with a quick search. 

I've noticed that the 19 oz denim seems to vary dramatically between lots. Lot 15 seems to be slubbier and more streaky while lot 17 is less slubby. This is compared on two different cuts, the 510xx and 710xx. 

I've attached some images for reference:

If these are indeed both the kiwami denim, why are they so different?

Any ideas?

Saw these guys on kickstarter a couple of months back. Didn't bite because of the denim restrictions for certain cuts. Seems like an affordable introduction to raw denim though. +1 for sourcing from Cone Mill. Not a fan of the fits (front rise seem low on all styles) or the details though.

I'm familiar with how much heat/attention these wallets have gotten in the past, but though I'd see if anyone would be interested still in picking one up.

I have two Khoiphan wallets and have not had time to even touch this one.

Anyway, 75$ shipped takes it. Price too high? just offer! It's been oiled with Obenauf's Leather Oil and slightly tanned.

Size: 5 inches tall 3.5 inches wide 1 inch thick when folded. Pockets for bills behind the card slots. Bills will need to be folded in half.

I have the same wheelset. Stickers were easy for me to take off with my nails for one wheel. For the other I had sticky shit left all over my wheel. Goo gone for stubborn glue!

I've been trying to finish off another pair of jeans before I started these so that's why I'm so late. I'll be wearing these almost everyday hopefully? Don't know yet, might end up rotating them.

Selaviso, I soaked before I started wearing. I seem to always soak my denim regardless of if they are sanfordized or not.
