i was about to say this. unfortunately vintage lo is on the come-up right now. acupulco gold (yet another played streetwear brand) made a shirt with the polo bear on it trying to claim 'lo lifes. maybe it was a collaboration, who knows, everyone collaborates nowadays; i just think it's stupid to claim defunct crews. i'm going to start bringing it back as soon as i can find the good vintage shit (the ski '92, indian head, and p-wing are mostly what i'm looking for). shit is tough to find though. hopefully i'll get lucky thrifting in ny...maybe someone here could direct me? ironic thing is nobody back in the early '90s paid for it, unless they were members of a country club and their friends called them "chad."

I've heard the word Hardbody, its a New York word that refers to anything thats extreme or tough. For example "Yo son, you saw my jacket? shits madddd ill, hardbody". We use tight to describe how we're upset. "I'm so tight she gave me a D"

Also, I heard the term "chew" used to answer the phone the other day. I think this comes from "chew the fat" but I might be wrong.

Do you mean in terms of looks or in terms of manufacturing? I'm pretty sure the Dunk was supposed to be an improvement over the AJ in terms of a basketball shoe. In terms of the lasts and all that technical stuff, I have no idea.

I got hooked on nanaca crash back when it was under the college humor games section. It's like crack. I never understood a word they were saying either.

Back when I was living in Germany, I got a chance to visit Levi Strauss' birth house in Buttenheim, Bavaria, which they've turned into a small Levi's museum.

What was a total surprise to me was that this is where the 1880 Nevada jeans now reside. I had no idea what I was in for on the visit! Luckily, I had my camera with me and took some photos. There's also an article from Fraenkischer Tag about the acquisition I have a photo of.

Anyway, I've been on this board a few times and decided to make this my first post. I just wanted to share with you guys some of the photos I took.
