  1. hm, i should mail it back to them to get my jeans tapered and hemmed.

if i remember correctly, service is free and we just have to pay for shipping, right?

he used to do tapering (not sure if he does anymore) but you need to be there, as he takes actual measurements of your body down to your hem. It's not just "I want a 7.5" hem".

idk, just leave the jeans be, not every cut is tight and tapered.

  2. The actual sizing on all the jeans as posted on the charts, is one inch smaller than the tag size. Depending on the style you wear your jeans, they can stretch up to 3 inches. If you have a tag 30 (29inches) you should be able to stretch them to a 32inch actual waist.

My sample pair that i wear every day is a 32 (actual 31'') and its measurement now is 34 inches.

    Hope this helps!

Im glad more people are getting there jeans and are happy with the product.

We have all new packaging in the works now, including leather hand made tags with real leaf embossings, and white gift boxes with hand printed esef on them.

This packaging will be for the Sky jeans. Sky sample will be exported out of japan on january 25th. I should have photos shortly after the beggining of february.

Thanks so much for everyones support!

people are seriously fucking retarded if they continue to buy from this guy. he obviously has no idea what he's doing and can't run his business properly. Is there one post other than the two people who are basically sponsered by esef that is completely satisfied with their jeans? Save some money, buy a pair of Ande Whalls instead, at least you'll know you'll be supporting a true artisian instead of this guy who jumped from screenprinting tshirts to making jeans. Plus, Ande actually responds to his emails and PM's.

  3. I am really sorry that I never got around to answering you.

I think SNS is worth their price. It is pure new wool, so it isn't a baby alpaca or some fancy sort of wool, but it is very durable and it will seriously keep you warm for a and last a life time. I own some knits and I wear them regularly during the rather cold Danish winter months.

I have actually heard a rumour saying that you can just visit their factory and buy it cheaper straight from them, so if you find yourself in Herning, Denmark have a look if you want it a bit cheaper.

If you still need some info on the brand. All I can say is that the 3 elderly men run the factory and the use really old machinery dating from the 30's or something like that and the production is still based in Denmark which might explain the rather high cost. Some of the knits are really traditional, but they have introduced some more fashion forwarded pieces ( the quality remains the same) and as a gimmick they hand-sign every single piece.

This gives a rather good overview of the entir collection, though there are some pieces missing.

SNS Herning would be the only reason to create a Danish proxy as I don't really think that there is much else that us Danes can be proud of.

PS I forgot to mention that their pieces are rather slim, so they run a tad small. I am normally a medium, but I tend to buy it in a size L or XL, but I would def be able to fit a M too.

I hope people haven't lost interest in this thread. I really hope that other people will have some sort of interest in S.N.S Herning as it is really great.

do you do pickups? that fisherman zip sweater looks amazing!

  4. Yeah, Evisu's are a bitch when it comes to fading. I've heard of these jeans showing marginal signs of fading after the first six months, in comparison to a brand like Nudie, for instance, which shows some extreme fades. Too many damn dips in the indigo vat I reckon. Yeah, but the fit sucks at times, and they need to offer an equal number of slim cuts.

Also, in my denim searches, I finally fount a pair of those wranglers everyone was interested in.

    Saw these too:

These look almost exactly like the ones Levi's is charging an arm and a leg for. I assume they're greencast. Just thought some folks might be interested (price wise).

    legit seller too
