  2. I dont know why people are crazy over those dior sneakers. I bet half of those people wont even buy them if they dont have the dior logo on it. Just my thoughts

If it was for the logo why would they go for the one brand with the most subtle logo possible.

  3. 4 inches? That's pretty insane. Didn't think the japanese stretched that much :\

    Edit:

I've been reading some older posts in this thread claiming they stretch less:

i highly disagree with sizing down 3 sizes. Size down 2 on the made in japans for a true SKINNY tight fit. size 1 down for looser antifit. The MIJs dont really stretch
imo, size down by 1 will be fine.... coz diors dont stretch as big as 2 inches.

Hope you meant to write cm

  4. shit that sucks. is that 25% VAT? i know in scandinavia the taxes are ridiculously high, but an additional $15 in customs? is that a flat rate?

Yeah it's a flat rate customs fee they charge on all packages above $30 and packages from private persons marked gifts above $160. On some items there are even 10.2% customs on top of that, like clothing from some parts of the world. But still with all this extra it's almost always cheaper than buying it in local stores.

On the positive side, the local prices matches our good economy, so buying more expencive items on Ebay etc. isn't really a big difference from buying more affordable items locally.

Example: Insted of buying a pair of Levis priced $200 (normal price for Levis jeans here, I could get a couple of Diors for $250 buying them here or on Ebay.

  5. I live in Norway and buy quite a lot from Ebay. Everything retails far more expencive here than in the US, normal 501's retails around $130 and other models up to $200. The same goes for other brands, nothing special about Levis.

Many US shops does not ship to Norway, and for all packages above $30 we have to pay 25% in taxes and $15 in customs fee.

I see 501's costs about $50 at the levisstore, but even if they provide worldwide shipping it would cost me $77+shipping to get it here. 99% of all ebay sellers claims a lower price on the package or marks it as a gift on demand, so even at $60 it comes of cheaper.

  6. mr guybrush threepwood, if you are a true 34, you could fit into size 31 diors if you want skinny thighs and stretching. a size 32 should work fine with you too. the waist usually measures about 2" larger than tagged size, so size according to how you'd like the fit.

Ok I'll go for 32" then. I measured on the hips where I usually wear my jeans and it's closer to 35" actually.

    Thanks

Another question: I know the hem is smaller than 19cm below 30", is it larger than 19cm above 30"?

  7. Bored after 3 months? It takes longer than that for the great games to come, give it some time! The first year of both DS and PS2 were terrible, look at them now.

(you could of course buy it again when the good games come :P)
