if chucks are your style and you want new shoes, then get them. i like them and have two pairs. they arent that expensive but remember they're still just made-in-china chucks.

i read somewhere that this company sources their cotton from Xinjiang? hand-picked too, is this true? i went to Xinjiang a few times the past couple years for work projects (see Flathead 3001 world tour) in the countryside rural areas. Xinjiang produces near 30% or more (thats like a couple million tons) of China's yearly cotton production. with that in mind, i saw something very interesting when i was in their countryside: several large cotton fields where workers were hand-picking the cotton. i wondered, for a province that produces this much cotton, there are actually cotton farms being hand picked?? there's so much culture in those areas, i wondered if it was a tradition thing. it was a beautiful sight, i wonder if Red Cloud gets their cotton from the same source haha. if they do, i feel like i need a pair of their jeans. after all, the organization i work for is all about helping the communities in areas such as those i saw.

I remember when i was very young, in primary school, when we had a substitute teacher that was telling us that he doesn't buy toys for his kid and that he instead gave him yoghurt pots to play around with.
my young, already-crap-infested-mind thought - how terribly tragic, that kid must have a boring life.
I just remembered that thought now, I think that kid is likely an interesting young man now..
as a kid i didnt really play with toys, i played with a chopstick and just used my imagination. started around 4 years old, never completely stopped. now my imagination goes kinda wild whenever i hold a single chopstick

I have a crush on a girl. It's an incredibly obvious crush cus there are plenty of guys in line. she's gorgeous and there are minions of second and third tier sufu type characters after her. anyways, I am currently completing community service at a thrift shop for a DUI, I was in the basement depressed as anything, dreaming about this girl when I came upon this fantastic vintage sears camouflage overshirt that I thought would complement her style. I didn't buy it but tonight I did order an expensive perfume from luckyscent just to spray on it so it smells nice when I eventually buy it and send it to her. My current net worth is in the three figures haha.
we've never spoken besides an awkward exchange on facebook. which ended with her being surprisingly magnanimous and kind.
this sounds as pathetic as it is. but I can't help it. she occupies my mind all the time.
yo that is creepy as fuck

^that is very true, the shops i mentioned mark up their supreme merchandise quite a bit from the US retail price.

anyone know where the shop that sells supreme shit is near zhongxiao dunlu?
my friend told me to just google it but i'm getting nothing :\
near zhongxiao dong lu, there's a couple.
there's a shop called JP Show on the smaller street behind DinTaiFeng parallel to zhongxiao dong lu. its near AlleyCats i think. address: 20號, Alley 11, Lane 216, Section 4, ZhongXiao dong lu, website: http://www.jpshow.com.tw/
there's another store in the Zhongxiao Dunhua neighborhood called Magnet. From the UC Noodle Bar, walk one block east and then one block south. again, been a while since i went so not sure if its still there.
edit: i just "walked" around on Google street view maps and found it, its near the intersection of Yanji Rd Lane 62 and Zhongxiao Dong Lu lane 205:
there's probably more in that neighborhood too, there's a bunch of small reseller streetwear shops scattered around there.

Post up your thoughts when you get a chance. I've been hearing good stuff but I'm still a little skeptical.
what exactly are you skeptical about?
overall i think its a pretty good game if you like puzzle games or Atlus games, although its hard to compare Catherine to any other game i know of. its hard as fuck though, even on Normal difficulty you can expect to die a LOT. that might turn some people away because it could get frustrating, but to me its really satisfying because im into hard thinking games and when you finally beat the stage its like Fuck Yea. if you like puzzle games, i'd recommend it but if you're not in a rush you can probably wait for the price to go down. but if you're an atlus-diehard like me, then go get the game.
