Imperial Kings, Black sz 34 -- 200 USD shipped (outside US please PM)
I wore these off and on for less than four weeks in the spring. They've never been soaked, washed, or rained on. There's some creasing but no fading. The creases should come out with wear. They still have the orignal 38" hem. I'm selling them because I'm working on another pair of dry denim that will last me through the year and I won't be able to wear these for about 9 months. Somehow it looks like I've gotten negative rep here (probably through some poor WAYWT fits), but I've got a clean record on eBay (http://myworld.ebay.com/eidob8). Thanks for looking!
Waist 36.5"
Inseam 38"

How do most companies measure the sleeve length for jackets? Is it simply shoulder to cuff? With dress shirts it's from the neck to shoulder to cuff I believe. Is there a difference?

So everytime I wear a couple of types of shoes, most notably chucks and running shoes, the tongues like to work their ways to the outside of the shoe, leaving a big view of the sock. Does this happen to everyone or is there some common cure for this?

It looks like the crepe sole option is available on some of the heavier boots, but I too do not see the lace boot with the crepe on their website. They do offer a double sole for many models, but I would like to hear a testimonial from someone who's worn them. I'll try and call arrow and see if they can give me some info.

I think this is the actual pack I have. There's no tags or anything, hence my surprise. I picked it up for $35 with some minor damage (a couple parts that were replaced) at an army surplus store. It's main compartment is actually a bit deceptively small. It's still large enough to fit 2 textbooks and maybe a laptop though. All cinched up it feels pretty sturdy on my back. There's no internal frame, only stiff foam on the back. If anyone wants I could take some pictures later.

So I was checking out the "Shoes That Look Better With Age" thread over in superdenim and there someone mentioned Arrow Moccasins. They seem to be of pretty good quality, handmade in Hudson, Massachusetts.
Here is a link to their site: http://www.arrowmoc.com/mocasins.html They actually don't even take a credit card number online; they call you on the phone for it.
Here are some better pictures of some lace ups and ring mocs (at least, the pictures from some Japanese websites reselling them):

Some aged shots (2 years):
Has anyone worn a pair of some of these? I'm curious if anyone has delt with their direct website and what their experiences were, what the contruction quality is. I also really want to see if there are some more shots of the gladiator mocs floating around.

So how about that Mad Cow Disease? Well, it was here for a while and then it disappeared. Your thoughts?

So, about a month ago I picked up some black Imperial Kings. I was really impressed with the quality of the pair. One of my biggest concerns was the fit on the thigh, which I think is acceptable.
However, I don't like the size of the leg opening. They are slightly bootcut and at size 34, I think even a straight leg would be difficult to stop at the shoe and give decent stacking. Right now they tend to just hang off my heel and I get worried about fraying up the edge. Anyway, I was thinking of having them altered. How would going from a leg opening of 10" to about 8" affect the look of the jean? Would I lose the selvege or could it change the way the jean drapes on the lower leg? Thanks if you could contribute some knowlege.

Over on the somethingawful forums, I believe deadreak aquired this hoodie. I believe the story went something along the lines of his girlfriend purchasing them while in Asia. I guess they only come in one size.

Buddha, everytime I see you post I'm quite jealous of those black imperials. They are Dukes, no? Good look. I really want a pair but I'm hesitant to make my first dry jeans black. I guess I'm just stuck with 505's for a while.

I guess I'm still having trouble with the aero thing, can anyone help?

ah, perhaps I am misunderstanding the Aero website. With the drop down list of sizes, it has drop down sizes of 30/32, 32/34, 34/36. Then in parenthesis it has the shrinkage size. Aren't these listed in [waist]/[inseam], so the largest waist is only a 34. I have a pair of cheap 505's that are 34 in the waist and they are way too tight for my liking in the thighs. Am I missing something at Aero?

Ah, thanks for the info. I'm not sure about the Iron Hearts. I visited their website and it didn't look like they made anything in 38 inseams, regardless of the waist. I'm looking for 36x38. It sounds like LVC would be a good choice, but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out where to get them from. I'll have to order jeans online, so could anyone direct me to a website? I haven't found much on where to buy them here or through google. thanks,

I'm a pretty tall guy and the stacking with a 36" inseam seems a bit lacking. So who makes jeans with a 38" inseam? I know of Imperials, but that's about it. I was wondering if my selection was a bit more varied. Thanks.

Recently I aquired some APC New Standards through the market here via wwld. They are size 33. I'm a little reluctant to break these in and let them stretch though. Of course, I know these APCs will stretch a size or two. I'm only tried them on so far.
This first picture is of me in my cheap levis 505s. They are 34w x 36length and the seem to actually have some room in the waist but are pretty tight around the thighs. Comfortable, but I do not need another pair this tight or tighter.
The second picture is me trying on the APCs. They are definitely a lot tighter, almost skin tight in the thighs, but I am still able to button them up without any problem. The seems on the side do not seem stressed at all.
The third picture is of some random guy in Imperial jeans. I really like the way they fit, but I'm afraid the APCs won't stretch out that far.
I'm not sure if I need them to stretch that much, but I definitely need them significantly looser than my Levis. So, could you please share your thoughts? Thanks,

As I'm waiting for my belt to come from corter, I had a question. I've never bought anything of natural leather before so what will I need to oil/tan my new belt? I don't really know what the process is and searches yielded little. If I didn't treat it at all would it just stay that sort of beige color? Thanks.
