are you sure on that? usually size 4 is usually larger than US size 10. can you post measurements? length as well as width at the widest point?

Just got my Flat Head Houndstooth from the Supermarket. I've worn it 3 times in the past 4 days, so for those who don't own one, I definitely would recommend picking one up.

I'm a little curious as to how everyone is washing them. With how much I see myself wearing it, I'd be washing it maybe twice a week. Is everyone washing it every once in awhile or getting it dry cleaned, or any special procedures? I know the quality is unbeatable, but I don't want to "wear it out" by over washing/drying.

Secondly, I can't decide whether I want a chambray or flannel or another houndstooth. Damn you Flat Head.

I have a flathead black and white houndstooth myself and wash it maybe once a week.. i dont know if this is just me, but i noticed the black is starting to look dull and not as black as it used to be.. but then again, this is to be expected from black fabric.

hmm... i've tried to remove them but it seems like there are other straps that keep the waist straps from being removed?

i just got myself a visvim ballistic 20, and its great. Only problem is, im kinda iffy about the waist straps. I dont really use em, and they just hang there..

Is there any way to remove them or hide them? i noticed right behind the start of the waist straps, there is a piece of fabric you can un-velcro, which leads into an empty space -ok this part is hard to explain- between the part of the backpack that your back touches and hardshell of the inner back of the backpack. is there a way to shove the straps in there? If not, what's that space for?

sorry if this doesn't make much sense, it's hard to explain this space i found and if the straps fit in there.
