I'm looking for a Levi 501 fit, maybe a tad bit slimmer but nothing tight/too slim.

Assuming you can't try any of these on, I'd go for the APCs - very versatile, and about half the price of the other 2. You've also got the benefit of a plethora of fit pics on the forum to help you get the right size.

how about some cheap mondays? they are on sale on that site you gave me.

I'm gonna do the classic "go slightly over the amount you stated": APC can be had for $112 at denimbaronline.com, when the code "style4um" is used. You'll have to wait until their sale ends, however, as the code is currently disabled.

just got my first pair of more expensive jeans last friday. slim jim dry japan i believe. i am a fuller build guy so they kind of just make me look fat. ive worn skin tight before but with strech, in the dry denim game i am in between the apc rescues or even stevens. hoping that they will look slim on a full build body. it seems like both models are similar cuts. apc are selvege and es in dry or organic, wish i could afford the masa...

The rescue are alot fuller than the ES, and fade alot nicer. Your call.

The gun metal look cooler, but the gold ones have a certain retro charm.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I've always believed that if YOU think they're too tight, they are. No poing wearing something that makes you feel uncomfortable either physically or psychologically.

The pair of jeans I have right now are straight/a little tapered like the APC NS, so I thought I might get something different, but I heard the crotch rips easily in Nudies.

Of those 2, I'd get the APCs: they're cheaper and fade nicer. If you wanted something a little different to your current jeans, you could get the Rescue instead (relaxed straight leg).
