  1. Can I see some pictures of how the jackets fit with the arms straight out and straight up?

    Thanks

I will take of pictures of me wearing the racing jacket tomorrow. I sold our linen sample jacket, so I don't have a linen jacket at this moment, but I am sure the guy who bought it would take pics of it that way, if I asked. He either got it today or will be getting it on Monday...

    Regards, Michael

  2. You look like Alain Delon's rock'n'roll grandson in that picture, that's a very good thing BTW.

What is the model name of the jacket you're wearing?

I'll take that comparison any day of the week! Le Cercle Rouge is one of my all-time favorite movies. I have to see L'eclisse one of these days. I've seen the first two in the trilogy, and I think Criterion just put out a dvd of L'eclisse 4 or 5 months ago....

That jacket isn't on our website, but we will be introducing a modified version of it shortly. Like our racing jacket, we made it about a year and a half ago, but no one really saw it, and it was one of our favorites. It is a spring/fall jacket. Mine just happens to be quilted on the inside...

  3. I'm ordering the assymetric hoody in gray. I didn't know they offered it in black.

Because of popular demand, I will be dying some fabric black this next week. If you want it in black, just give me an email, and we can do that. It will just take an additional week(2 weeks) to get it out to you...

    Regards, Michael

  4. I hate to add to all the random questions about no sleeves or extra length or this or that, but I'm wondering if you're able to produce the two hoodies without the hoods?

Effectively, making an arm pocket crew neck and an asymmetrical v-neck top?

The asymmetrical hoody looks like it would be easier to manufacture without the hood, if I'm correctly judging where the actual hood fabric is sewn onto the rest of the garment.

Just talked to Colby and that won't be a problem. If you would like to order some like that, just let me know...

I also wanted to reiterate that if any of you want one of our knits lengthened, it isn't a big deal, just let us know...

  5. I can vouch for MJKrell’s product; I own the arm pocket hoodie in burgundy and must say, due to the light fabric, it works really well as a layering piece in winter and a single layer during summer. It’s a slim, flattering cut, I’m a 36/46 and the small fits me very well. I know the length was adjusted for my height, which allows me to display belt on the side, where the bottom of the garment arches up.

The Scottish or whatever its name is jacket (working from memory here) also looks pretty good to me, if I was planning to acquire something similar, it would definitely be among my favored options.

Im glad the hoodie is working out for you. We don't have a jacket named Scottish, but if you are interested in picking up a jacket I am offering $25 off the first order of anyone who purchased a styleforum hoodie...

Onemancult, I don't see why we can't do that. I will talk to my partner Colby about it, and get back to you...

  6. Ok, here are a couple of pics of me wearing our size small. I may look a little tired in picture 2 because I am:)

Again, this jacket is more of a relaxed fit than some of our other jackets, but that is mainly due to the linen. It is still a slim fit around the shoulders...

  7. if only that asymmetrical hoodie were 3-4 inches longer... and came in black.

We're here to sell clothes. I can dye 10yds of fabric black, which should get 6-8 garments made. I'll order the dye tomorrow. You can PM or email me now if you would like a black knit, and/or if you have any qualms about the length. We will get it worked out...

  8. love the stuff, Ill be placing an order soon but the one thing I would REALLY love is for most of these to be available in black.

If we get some more people wanting our knits in black, than I might go ahead and dye 10 or 15 yards. The prices might be $5 more or so because you need more dye, more salt and more time to get a nice black using fiber reactive dyes...

  9. Yes, those are both size smalls. The asymmetrical hoodie fits a little snugger than the arm pocket hoodie. We think the arm pocket hoodie hits in a very nice place, just below the belt, and the asymmetrical hoodie is meant to be a little shorter...

    I am 6'0 145lbs...

I know that it says we charge $15 for alterations to a piece, but if any of you are concerned with the sleeve and/or body length of our knits, we can lengthen them at no charge...

  10. Wow. Thanks for the great response guys!!

very nice, but i'm thinking even the XS won't fit? I'm really interested in the linen jacket, but I like my clothes to be very fitted and I have a 34 chest...

I am a 36 jacket and all the smalls fit me comfortably, but they are slim. Our linen jacket is probably one of our looser fitting pieces. Just PM me your measurements and I am sure we can work something out...

    Regards, Michael

  11. I like the stuff and i must say im curious as to how you provide it at such a low pricepoint.

Our main focus is online sales, so we don't need to worry about a retailer marking the items up another 120%. We also keep our overhead low. We work with some great suppliers that don't demand large fabric purchases, and most everything is made to order, thus the waiting period on our items...
