  1. i've heard tales of amazing kobe beef for years. stuff about it being cooked on a hot rock in front of you and it being an almost religious experience. i don't think i've ever had real kobe beef. i know i've never had good kobe beef. damnit.

nobu dallas has great meat. bob's in dallas has great meat.

the original, katrina p0wned, ruth's in new orleans was the best in the chain and the only one worth going to.

i've never had a bad steak at a morton's anywhere.

  2. i only wear flip flops when i'm on the water. i have a pair of olukai's that are amazing. i have the ones meant for water/boats. but they do have leather flip flops as well.

    whatever you choose, don't choose

  3. excellent. thank you.

the brand ombrelle by l'oreal is the best. they use a different composition superior to others. that's why it's almost twice the price.

now this is talking local pharmacy/walmart products.

  4. in the past month i've used at least 10 different kinds trying to find one that worked without burning or causing skin issues. i've used cheap ones and expensive ones.

the worse results were with kiehl's. it leaked into my eyes and burned like hell while i was wakeboarding. it was an unfortunate time to be blinded. neutrogena has so far been the best.

the one they have at Publix?

seriously though I can't imagine decent quality sun blocks having that much difference between brands unless youre looking for some specialty kind. I also doubt that too many people have actually tested and compared different ones, so its likely that the suggestions you'd get are just the ones people happened to use.

just buy something thats advertised as quickly absorbing and less greasy and waterproof, those will probably feel nicer if you get wet.

  5. i'm not saying it's not inherently racist or absurd. i'm not excusing it in any way. i'm just saying that it's intended for white people, which i find interesting because it seems like they are trying to illegalize a cultural influence. the grandparents of the people who came up with this were beaten if they spoke french in puplic. their culture was almost wiped out. it's sad and ironic.

the whole town flooded after Rita. i think all but 20 or so houses flooded. they have other concerns.

yes, the law is offensive. but i was just as offended when this or any state tries to make abortion illegal, make gay marriage illegal, insists on abstinence only education, etc. etc. it's not shocking. it's just dumb.

but hell, at least we can still drink on the street.

  6. you don't have to abuse denim to get amazing fades. you just have to wear it.

serious abuse doesn't always result in amazing fades. i have one pair that i've designated for abuse. i have to wash them more often because they get coated in stuff that breaks denim down. and also because they become too filthy to wear. the fades are interesting but i've seen better on denim with long term regular wear. they mostly just look beat to hell.

  7. APC NS are 12oz when they are new but after a couple months of wearing/washing they become lighter.. a worn-in pair should work well as a pair of summer jeans, especially since you wont want something really dark that will absorb heat, like raw denim.

i am pretty much only wearing my apc's now. they're light enough but they're starting to fall apart. i doubt they'll make it through summer.

i believe 45 rpm have some 9oz denim. they may interest you.

yes, that's exactly what i had in mind.

  8. i use the tea tree bronners. tea tree oil is supposed to kill the nasty.

Will Dr. Bronner's get rid of any nasty microbials and other malicious organisms?
