  1. thanks guys. im 5"8 , around 123 pounds. true waist of 28, sized down 2.

been wearing them almost daily less a day or two, caught in the rain more then twice.

they have pretty much stretched by quite abit around the waist and thighs, hopefully i'll see some fades pretty soon!

where did you buy the size 26?

EDIT: after browsing the old Dior Homme thread, I think that a 26 would be too tight on me. (apparantly I wouldnt be able to find one in NA even if i wanted a pair)

I wear 28 in basically all my other pairs of jeans. my true waist is 28". I am 5'8, 115 lbs. I am most likely going to go for a size 27, as I don't want a leggings look, but the staple slim dior homme look. that would mean the waist measures 14.5", and would stretch out another inch more to 15" (x2=30"). correct?

yikes...now that I think about it, 30" is pretty big, considering even if I wear the jeans lower at my hip/pelvic bone area, it is still only 29" or so at the most.

EDIT #2: I would also like to add this would be my first pair of raw denim. I had purchased a pair of iron army's (raw or rinse cant remember) awhile ago, but did not find them as comfortable as everyone on SuFu makes them out to be. Is it just me? or was I not giving the jeans a chance? (I only wore them the first couple weeks then threw them in the closet) I would just like to bring this topic up as I did not read anything about comfort and wearing raw jeans in the old thread.

  2. Are these the grey T-000 jeans everyone's talking about? or is there an even darker grey?

they better not be those ones, because i have a pair of those already haha. i think its a darker gray

  3. just went to my local holt renfrew today. tried out the hermes d'terre and d'eau orange verte. liked d'terre but found that d'eau orange verte smelled a little too much like soap and had too much citrus. i also enjoyed (well the gf did) marc by marc jacobs

  4. i just did a phone order, they said there was only purple, 'royal blue', forest green, olive green, khaki, and red in stock. no mention of black or grey. I'm assuming the pictures of the light blue ones earlier in the thread are these 'royal blue' ones she lady described??

sorry they have grey the lady forgot to mention it to me. but no black.

  5. can anyone recommend a few good fig scents? i'm doing a sample run at luckyscent.com but they don't have Philosykos from Diptyque or a sample size in the Jardin de Kerylos by Parfumerie Generale.

EDIT: oh yeah, can people also recommend some scents from The Different Company? there aren't any reviews on Basenotes so I don't know which samples to try. I personally like lighter, floral or fruit scents, for daytime and summer use. not so much musky or really heavy woody scents.

EDIT #2: one more thing, where can i try samples of Hermès? i would like to try the Terre D'Hermes and the Eau D'Orange Verte.

UPDATE: I just did a sample run at luckyscent and got 8 CdG samples + the Premier Figure

  7. nice those t-000's are exactly what i wanted to order, thanks mike. picked up a pair in HK last year and loved the fit, been looking for something in Canada ever since. really digging the olive and light blue.

hey can i ask another question? how do i find out about other stuff i can order over the phone? do i just check out the Japanese store and hope they have it in stock in the US? or is there some online catalogue? etc.

  8. thanks sushijerk. I think i will order by phone then since I don't know anyone who would be willing to buy me stuff and mail it. I can just get it sent to a relative in the US and then they can mail it for me, that would work right?

do you know the phone order number? I still can't seem to find it on the website

EDIT: nevermind, a quick google search gave it to me from Styleforum, it's 877-486-4756. You can also order at [email protected]

  9. hey everyone. so i'm a little confused as how to order stuff? it seems there are 2 ways: by 'proxy', or 'by phone if from US'. Since I am from Canada it looks like I would have to do a phone order to a US address. but if I may ask, what is 'proxy'? is it easier than phone ordering? also I can't even find the phone ordering number from the uniqlo website. Thanks in advance.

  10. in my opinion scandinavians (in particular danish) are quite reserved and hard to get to know. they are definitely not as welcoming or friendly as spanish or turkish. if you dont know anyone it might be lonely unless you can hang out with co-workers, etc. accomodations are expensive, not exactly sure of the numbers though. (i live in a subsidized student residence) i know that my friends have rented a 1 bedroom flat for about 1000 USD (month)
