this coming from someone who was unimpressed by OB4CL2?

here's the deal... i've been waiting for OB4CL2 for about 8 years now? after hearing about blood on the chef's apron, RAGU, and ob4cl2, my anticipation has steadily grown. hearing all the pre-release shit about this being the best list of producers and the whole album is on some gritty ass shit, i was expecting a solid sequel to arguable one of the greatest albums of all time, any genre. i was expecting 20 cuts of gihad/have mercy/pyrex visions and instead we got crap like catalina, kiss the ring and about me. a lot of it was cheap, too much of the intro's focused on "kung fu" instead of mafioso shit.... so much of the album just felt half baked, rehashed and not up to par.

the cudi album i wasnt expecting at all... it's very creative, very different yet still catchy. the beats are different, his approach and subject matter are different, and it just works well as a whole.

i'm sorry but the kid cudi album is really fucking good.

i thought boomhauers job was a mystery the whole series and now it has closure? no?
