Does anyone wear ns true to size or 1 size down ? I have a pair 2 sizes down and though i like the stretched fit though the legs they are a bit tight on my ass and kind of stick out on the fly which looks like i got a hardon . So if i buy a pair more true to size and looser will they still stretch like fuck ?

looking to buy nudie even steven...i want them to fit a little loose. now my waist is 32 and i was planning on getting a 33 in the nudies. would that be to big? and would they shrink any?
I wouldnt size up on these unless you've got huge thighs. The even steven is a carrot fit so you may end up with baggy thighs which wont look good on a jean with alot of taper

Shrink will be negligible, but they could stretch anything up to 3" at the waist, so I wouldn't bother sizing up.
If they're loose to begin with then stretching will be nothing / negligible. If they'res no pressure on the denim then how they gonna stretch ? People have taken this stretching issue too far. Dry nudies will shrink an inch in the waist . I've never sized down on nudie and after soaking / washing they always end up a bit smaller and fit perfectly

Looking for a dark brown size 32. Are there any japan proxy services available at the moment ?

I've worn nudies for about 3 years and have never sized down. I guess with the looser fits like ralfs you could size down if you dont intend to wash it. Jeans should be comfortable from the word go imo, not bruising your hips for fucks sake !

These are nice. Anyone else like them ?

1) That post is a little contradictory if you think about it.
2) It tends to look douche-y and sloppy. I'm generally not of fan of sharp tappers or flared boot-cuts, but I don't mind subtle versions of the afformentioned as long as they are on the appropriate body-types.
Ok thanks for the reply. Since i'm still learning about what suits me what body types would you say look good in bootcut jeans ?

Why do so many people here hate on bootcut anyway ?? Nudie ralfs are worn by a fair few people in waywt and nobody says a thing.

Those sevens are a better fit than 99% of the jeans i see on this forum. Retards

Looking for a 31" waist if anyone can help

I'm torn between getting a 30 and 31 waist in 005. I'm between a 30 and 31 with thighs which measure 22" at the widest part. My weight is 145lbs. Will they still be slim if i opt for the 31 waist ? By the way my lvc 1947 measures exactly 31" and fits me perfectly about 1 1/2 inches below my belly button

Thanks for the quick replies. Should i size up from my slim jim due to the lower rise on pbj ?

Hopefully you guys can help me. I'm looking for other brands which make a fit similar to nudie slim jim. Basically a slim jean in the upper thigh and calves which doesnt taper in at the ankle. I guess this rules out japanese but i'm no expert. Someone told me the pbj-005 is very close to slim jim but i have no way of trying it on. Can any of you denim experts confirm this and also suggest other jeans which fit my requirements please

here are the measurements
35" waist
33" inseam
16" hem
20" thigh (about 4" below crotch)
Are you sure the waist is 35" ??

Been looking for a while and i can only find these in 30 or 32 waist. I'm pretty sure they make them in a 31" waist but cant find them anywhere. I'm a 30" waist so i'm assuming a 31" will be perfect after shrink / stretch. Can anyone help ?

The Even Steven has been popular with New Standard fans. The Straight Sven has been more difficult to sell based on the fit (in my experience as a retailer). The Rescue is a much bigger fit than the Sven. Call us and we'll get out the tape measure.

Out of interest why has the straight sven been difficult to sell ? When i tried it on myself i felt the fit was kind of out of proportion compared to slim jim and ralf

I have a new pair of RRDS which i know will shrink about an inch in length. I want to shrink them but i dont want to lose the stiffness / shine of the denim so how should i go about this ? Shall i just soak them in cold water for a few minutes ?

So what body types are generally suited to bootcut then ??

I have ralfs and 5ep bootcut which are both really subtle especially the 5ep. They look good with just about any footwear imo, even some of the low profile adidas trainers. Theres a good reason the reg ralf is such a popular jean in that it suits many body types. Nudie wouldnt be where they are today without the ralf. Bootcuts have to be the correct length though as a bootcut bunched up does look shit and very sloppy.

This forum is very anti bootcut jeans. Why then do so many people wear Nudie regular ralf on this forum ?

Apart from 5ep with there low down bootcut who else makes jeans with a very subtle bootcut ? I tried rrds but its almost flared to me which i dont like.

As the title suggests i'm looking for slim jeans which are straight from the knee down to the hem. In particular japanese denim. Would the sd-103 fit this description ? I have the straight sven which is straight from the knee down. My 1947 lvc and sugarcanes have a slight taper which i'm not so keen on. Please help

in supermarket
Posted
I have a couple of pairs of these in 32/34 and 36/34 new with tags. This is the flame selvedge version the same as the svenska. Price is £90 shipped worldwide which is roughly $185. I dont think these are available anymore as nudie dont make them. If anyone shows interest i'll post up pics.
