  1. The yellow could be the indigo itself, which is yellow in water but turns blue in the air. Or it could also be starch.

So with more washes will the yellow change and become more of a whiteish colour as the washing powder slowly bleaches the jeans

  3. -APC inseams are usually as such: waist 25-30: 32-34" inseam/ waist 31-36: 34-36" inseam.

a few pages back jimmyc said he is 6'2" and his inseam on his size 30" was perfect.

I received a new pair of ns size 30 a couple of days ago and the inseam measures 35"

  5. I washed my ns after about 8 months and they've come out looking a dirty yellowy blue color in some areas. Is this the nature of apc denim or did i let them get too dirty before washing or could it be the washing powder i used ?

  6. SDA 103, in fact all the 100 series denim will shrink 5 cm leg and 3 cm in waist on a wash up to 40 degreed. They are sized an inch or so bigger than the advertised waist size to account for this. However the 103 does fit smaller than the others, partly due to it being the slim straight model.

Quick sizing question. My waist 2 inches below belly button is 32" which is where new jeans normally start on me before falling a little lower onto my hips which are 33".I also have a butt if that makes any difference. Which size should i go for in sd-103 ?

  7. I think the fact that whatyouknowabout has posted up fits of about 10 pairs of new jeans on more than one internet forum shows he's in need of a little advice from some sort of image consultant. Maybe if someone on here could help him with what jeans will flatter his body type and point out exactly why some of the fits dont work ?

  8. This better?

Most of your problems are that you wear jeans too tight in the thighs and as a result your legs look like little sausages. sausages are tasty, I want breakfast, hmmm, that got weird.

Bootcut Olas - thighs too tight, calves down too loose. you look like an elephant.

Dukes - thighs looks strained, otherwise fine.

    SDAs - yay

Ksubi - thighs look like they're pulling

RRs - fine, just a bit dull

SJJ - somehow better than the other slim jim, good.

APCs - urrr, they look like you're losing your nuts, the area around your ass is way too personal, and the thighs are too tight.

1967s - hem and they should be alright.

1947s - terrible. make your legs look really stocky, and make you look stocky by extension. burn them.

5ep - alright I suppose. I've lost the will to live.

Nudies fucking suck. I think I hate you. There's my expansion on response. Hem all your jeans. You're tiny, you don't need that much stacking.

How can you tell the thighs are to tight on the olas ?

What is about the 47's that make his legs look so stocky ? I can see it too but cant quite put my finger on which part of the cut is causing his legs look so damm big. I thinking maybe its the lack of taper...

  9. It would be good if we could get some common ground on where to measure your waist so people know what to size down from as i believe people have a different idea on where there true / natural waist is.Obviously ths causes alot of confusion in the denim threads.

For instance the slimmest part of my torso just above my navel is 31". 2 inches below my navel is 32". Lower rise jeans end up on my hips which is 33". So which measurement do i use in reference to sizing down on apc jeans ?
