no doubt Jude is a steezy dude, he looks far better in his Julius leather though haha. relating to what celebs wear, why are you frequenting these sites Rob?
0 -
yeah, really liked the FW09 version but most of the stores only picked it up in hammered lamb which felt like plastic imo. the calf leather version on LVR looks much nicer...
definitely the later Nick, just look at Jude and Brad...

unimpressive fit pics vs trying in store: clothes lousy until proven good or clothes cool until proven bad?
edit: and oh yeah, that fencing on jude law is meeeeeeeh. hardly the pic to change anyone's opinion on the fencing, looks kind of big on him since it flares out at his waist so much.
lulz, then what does that make this jacket?
still of the opinion that the only good fit of the fencing I've seen has been on venus in furs, and its hardly a $7K fit haha.
really tempted by the high collar intarsia, love high collar leather jackets.

if they aren't all preordered before then.
September 30 is just a very rough estimate though, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them start arriving by the end of this month.

they applied the 10% GST to all items, even those under $1K.

its all inclusive according to the email they sent out earlier. their rick prices shipped to australia are very good...

my mistake, just checked the tags and they're cuba-ptc/1010. what's the difference Rob, they're all cordovan no?
so how about that fit pic Rob?
0 -
the tag says line 100% cotton,
but my jacket, the body are lined in cotton, the sleeves are lined as silk, i believe
ah k, it might be cupro like on my coat.
yeah the smoother leather with minimal scarring/inconsistencies COIL-PTC/1010.same leather as my derbies.

yo Rob, just a random question man. ccp leather jackets are fully lined in cotton no? doesn't that make it difficult (well less smooth) to pull the sleeves on and off? can't really remember from the jackets that I've tried on as they were loose anyway...

unimpressive unless you size down, imo it looks great on Christian. that said its not exactly my favourite Julius leather jacket (far from it in fact), however if he likes it I don't see why he should hesitate to cop. the design isn't a staple piece either, the last jacket that was vaguely similar was from FW07...
given that kuugaia has stated that he's got enough sneakers I don't think copping the ccp sneakers based on them being limited would be a worthy investment.

leather jackets aren't really for more dressy wear however you're definitely better off with a regular shirt style collar if you're planning on wearing it with a button up, shirt + moto collar is a definite no no. that said I'd still buy a moto collar over a basic collar any day, basic collar can look very old man-ish...

rider 1st, derbies 2nd, designer sneakers after you've already copped everything else and you still have money to burn.

Calvin or one of the other size 46 dudes on here, cop the moto!

busy with uni exams. I shot him an email Nick, thanks for the heads up.
0 -
lulz you're still reading three thousand mate?
0 -
will do Nick. he's there for a month, I imagine he'll spend most of it sloshed.
0 -
that looks fantastic Nick. a coworker is leaving for dusseldorf tomorrow, jealous.

it's proabably one of my favourites, but most infrequently eaten.
dangerous stuff.
cant go wrong making it at home though!
Might have to do the same, Mexican food is so good and relatively easy to make at home too.

yeah but surely these people with enough cash to splurge on luxury goods travel overseas on holiday or for work, just because they're willing to pay Assin's prices doesn't mean they have their head in the sand...
0 -
I would if their prices were reasonable and arrival times were similar to their overseas counterparts...
0 -
no worries man, I'll drop by eventually.
0 -
what did they get in Rob, anything of much interest?
0 -
crazy policy they have there, still nice to have the privilege of handling the collections in melbourne though. may not be in the country when it drops, at least I'd be able to check out FW10 though.
0 -
isn't Assin still the only RO mens stockist in Melbourne? not sure if they've even got SS10 stock in yet, its been a long time since I've visited...
klangspiel is selling the same cracked lambskin intarsia as the one on the 'bay, perhaps ask him for measurements? pretty sure an XS would be best for a slim 46 though.

heh, I remember someone linked another set of pics on SZ a while back so figured I'd have a quick search through Rob's link.![;)](//supertalk-new.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/emoticons/default_wink.png)
pointy shoulders are due to the washed leather, just need to break it mang.
