I was watching some of the runway videos on the YSL website, and fell in love with a song, which I simply don't know the name of (Googling the lyrics yields no assistance).
If anyone knows, I'd be eternally grateful. The website is:

You need to click on Collections>Men>RTW>Spring-Summer 2008
Cheers in advance,

So what are people's views on Corpus denim? I tried a pair of Rye Slim Straights the other day I'm toying with copping. What's the durability/stretch/fade like? They were pretty tight but that's what dry is for right?
It was the only pair in the store without silly looking front pockets pretty much...

Long time no see kiddies...
To kick it off, me in an unposed (really) shot in front of some bizarre art (with awful hair cos I just came in from the rain):
Helmut Lang biker jacket | Warhol vs Basquiat tshirt | Nudie Overdyed Black jeans | Z Zegna motorcycle boots (not seen)

I am interested in that Gucci shirt, but that is a LOT of cheddar, especially as I see them on sale at the Gucci store when they're a few seasons out for $100-150...

Almost walked out without this today, but I really need a 3/4 coat and nowhere in Dallas seems to carry my size:
It's off at the tailor, will post pics when I get it back.
Two questions: What is it, and where can I find more pics like this?

"Industrie" is Aussie for "Abercrombie"...

Damn you must have a penny or two Coldrice (I saw you bidding on that Lang blazer on eBay and just gave up...then realised it wouldn't fit me anyway).
Good to see you going for the really esoteric shit though, when you could just do head to toe Dior...

It's like a hybrid of an M-65 and a Belstaff Panther...possibly two of the dopest jackets ever. Very nice...

getting ready to deal with bargain hunter shit heads at 6 am [this morning].
and the shoes might not look like they work with this, BUT THEY DO.
Yeah, those shoes are killing it. Mind if I ask what they are? And the military coat while i'm at it...

Oh damn this is too easy...one of the advertising links on the blog page is for Erectile Dysfunction (damn those tight emo jeans!!) and another reads "No Marriage in Sight" (damn those gender non-specific emo kids!!)....

I'm sorta confused by the whole emoXsporty thing...does that mean you have to beat up *yourself*?

all dressed up
looking badass and whatnot
Competition? You wouldn't be mooting would you? I always used to do my most severe Pinstripes, pocket square, the whole bit...

I just copped the 15" C2D Pro a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I was messing about with the MacBook in the store, and just hated the keyboard, the tiny screen, the glossy coating (definately not good for editing photos!).
The Pro has some bitchin' speakers, and the bump in processor speed, HD capacity and RAM with the new line means you're actually getting something for the money.
Course, you could always get a MacBook and spend the extra cash on an external monitor, keyboard, etc...

It took me a second but JP=Converse Jack Purcells yeah?
Loving both the outfits. The composition of the second shot is VERY nice (even leaving the subject matter aside for now).
And, the Tom Waits quote in the siggy (TW yeah?) is just the icing on the cake...
...I think I have a supercrush on this post.

"Comme" has a sort of double-meaning, to my knowledge, meaning "like" but also "for" or "due to". So saying something like "elles viennent ici comme des garcons" (they come here for the boys) would make sense. Maybe?

I like your look, I think you look a lot like Bruce Payne. very dark.
I shall take that as a compliment! For some reason, he reminds me of Christophe Lambert, something very European about him...

It juxtaposes style elitism, and Public Enemy. These may be the two greatest things ever.

Any intel on sales this summer in Tokyo? I have a mate who said that they're starting a bit late - sometime in July. Keen for some of the select stores like Beams, United Arrows as well as the independents...
