I get those. Don't have a Red Moon though. I don't really mind, it's not open all that often. The leather doesn't 'flop' like RM, I think the leather's just not as soft. I get it at the spine, too.

ninja — just clean those. Saddle soap works, like coleslaw said, or leather cleaner. Lots of people here recommend Obenauf, never tried it myself. This stuff's done me well.

coleslaw, was it too big and long before? Are the arm honeycombs all in the wrong place now? It looks pretty subtle there, but those things always worry me.

Maybe its not apparent to those who don't seem to answer his noobish type questions, but most of the time they were him just being lazy and not taking the time to read any of the stickies or doing any research himself, to me, personally, that is really annoying, especially when information on superdenim is so well organised. But yeah with that being said, he was nothing but nice to me.
