  1. i have two pairs of gucci raw selvedge jeans.

the first pair are black, they were raw, but i cold soaked them and a significant amount of color loss happened--they were pitch pitch black--so there is a darkening of the selvedge--one green and one red stripe, and some darkening of the inside of the denim. they are still incredibly dark, and will fade nicely. the are a relaxed fit. 12.5" rise, 11" at knee, 9" leg opening. button fly. 19" flat waist, 36" inseam.

the second pair are raw indigo, and have not been soaked. they have the fat gucci selvage--fat green and red "ribbons" on each side of the seam. 13" rise, 12" at knee, 10" at ankle. these have little utility pocket on the left leg, and rectangular back pockets. zipper fly, 19" flat waist, and 36" inseam.

email me for pics--i don't know how to post them here. thanks for checking this out.

$65 each incl. shipping in CONUS, $115 for both.

  2. it was kind of crazy, i was ebay scouting and came up on them at crossraods in berkely, on shattuck. i can't believe somebody sold them for $10 trade, or $7 cash. they didn't have any other shit, same for buffalo exchange and the other crossraods in rockridge.

i checked out august too, nice stuff, but way overpriced.

  3. i'm on the road so i can't post pics. they've got the leather patch, all worn with a off center "R" and some other blob looking stuff. there is a sideways stitched "R" on the back right pocket. and, there's a blue tag inside that says r by 45rpm. i'll post pics later in the month when i get home.

  4. this is like new--i've worn it around ten times, nowhere smokey and no crazy activities. these are $200 on stp right now. i'll let it go for $100. it's sized at a 42, but i think they size a bit large so as to accomodate a sweater underneath. i would say it fits more like a 43. i wear 42 in suit jackets, but find this a little too big.

email me for pics as i don't know how to post here. thanks.

  5. does anyone remember the loop on these for the belt to go through so that when they were hella too big you wouldn't have that gap at the front? those were dope. i remember that was all we rocked in high school. the baggy cowboys and some other cut that i can't remember the name of.

there used to be this dude with dreads who worked at jeremy's on college ( in berkeley) who would let you put them on under your jeans and pocket like $30 and let you walk staight out the door.

what happened to girbaud that they became so weak...?

  6. i had a pair of girbaud baggy cowboys back in '91 that were fucking dope. i wore them until they were completely destroyed. i sometimes wish i could get another pair because i feel like they'd still look cool. iirc they were a nice slightly baggy straight cut that fit perfect over some nike acg hiking boots--it was the bay in the early nineties...

i bought some really dark blue and pretty slubby diesel kratts from fred segal in 2000 that had a navy and orange coin pocket label. i've never seen other ones like them. they were really dope too, and had some nice fading that i put on them. they went with all the other jeans when i got fat to the bay.

i had a pair of g-star sc low bootcuts in a deep indigo that were slightly distressed. they were the ones with the thicker denim. i sold them on ebay when i gained some weight, which i regret since i'd fit in them now...for some reasins g stars always are flattering on me.

my favorite jeans now are a pair of one wash byemrt blueline selvage jeans i bought in some random shop in shanghai's french quarter. they're dope and they were only $30 or so--they had some 47 canes too that weren't my size, so i left them. but i just bought some hard wash canes in the 47 cut and they may become my new favorites.

  7. i went to check out the new barney's coop in troy, michigan today. it's pretty nice, but the girls section seemed way better than the dudes'. they did have acne jeans though, but they didn't really seem all that dope. i'd never seen them in person before, and i tried some on but didn't really like the cut. the quality didn't seem all that either, and, for the price i'd get some japanese selvage...

i also tried on the puma/evisu jeans at the puma store, those were dope but a little too much $$.

anyways, i then headed over to loehmanns (discount clothing) whicih is always hella weak, but they had a bunch of lee jeans and i got a pair of 101b unwashed jeans for $50. They're ahlf yellow selvage and a nice regular cut. They're currently soaking...

Anyways, thought i'd give a brief report about the newest barney's coop.

    lates...

  8. i just bought a pair of nudies rrds from cultizm. the price was good, and dejan answered any and all questions promptly. these folks are top notch.

oh, and i got the jeans at 10:30 in the morning in michigan the next day!!

i was just thinking about some lvc 1947 raw when i read this thread...............

  9. i have two pairs of uniqlo selvedge classic fit jeans--a straight leg relaxed fit---denim woven on shuttle looms. these are amazing quality, chainstitching throughout, all up the inseam, at the cuffs, inside the ass, you name it. red line selvedge--selvedge coin pockets too. one pair is a dark denim with slight distressing--nothing outrageous. the other pair is a lighter blue, also with slight distressing. the lighter pair has all the tags still attached, the darker pair are nwot. i would guess that these are both about 12 oz. denim, give ir take.

    email me for pics.

$45 shipped US per pair. Both shipped for $85. International should be about $18 for 1 pair, and $30 for two pairs.

thanks for looking. (check ebay id "jchosko" to see my feedback as i haven't really sold on this forum before.)

  10. hi folks,

i've got a pair of nwot evisu x red dot jeans for sale. theyre a nice medium weight blue denim (non-selvage) and have a nice slim relaxed cut. not baggy at all. buton fly, evisu gull and leather patch on back left, and red dot labeling and revolver on right pocket. labeled 30 waist, but fits like 33.5. email me for pics--i don't know how to post them here. this is my first sale here, but check my ebay feedback (258 and 100%) under the name "jchosko"

    $55

don't think this is the place for it, but i've also got a pair of "vintage" true religions (from before they became super trendy and before the joey pocket flap mega bootcut era) for sale. 34 x 33. used, but not abused. i wore them cuffed, so they have a little wear on the bottoms, but no rips or tears. they've got a nice straight cut with a bootcut (not flare). email for pics.

    $50

also a pair of paper denim and cloth 2 year gto. like new, 33 x 30 (professionally hemmed with original cuffs reattached.) again, email me for pics.

    $40

drop me an email if interested in any of [email protected]

don't pm me, i'm not really in the habit of checking it. shipping is $7 via usps priority (domestic) and $18 international priority mail. will combine shipping. thanks for looking.

  11. for those who are into frye harness boots. i had a pair before but they were unfortunately stolen. i didn't want to cough up the money for another pair so i thought i would try the ones at "leather up" and when i got them i swear they are the identical boots with different branding on them--esp. since the frye harness boots aren't made in the usa anymore. the leather is the same oily supple handed one, they smell the same, and they have the same welt and sole. give them a try. and no, i don't work for them.
