  1. I never really liked slip ons myself, I totally agree with the choices that RBW gave you and Ill add athentics to that list.

as far as the slip on being feminine... I almost see what your trying to say but I dont agree with you. I think that the slip on just looks frail.

  2. there are a myriad of possibilities.

april77 colordrives come to mind as a popular choice round these parts.

see superdenim, I think you would probably get more hits and help on this over there.

also I suggest using the search button and the small questions thread.

    welcome to the future.

  3. we really need to get a poll going.

I understand everyones concerns about the fit being a fit that can cater to many body types and I agree.

but I am still hoping we decide on a slim cut with a boxy top ala dior

I also strongly suggest a hem line of around 7.5 as I hate shoe swallow and/or the faux boot cut that some slim straight cuts give off.

  4. it would be a great idea if the idea of two pairs of jeans could be one modern and one reprotype ( i.e. one slim one regular) pulling apart a person- representing the 2 schools of denimheads on the future.

  5. If you want to be a designer skip the programs and start drawing and thinking conceptually. The programs should be an after-thought. I would say that for the most part going through an education program is important, Where you go isn't quite as important. As long as you make the most of it. This thread is just old, there are so many "designers" and "DJ's" out there.

    fixed it for you.

    red tip well earned sir.

  6. I suggest a dior style cut and a Repro cut

there are 2 camps here at sufu. the "repro camp" and the "modern camp."

this is a perfect oppurtunity to explore both,

Im not sure if that would require making two threads for for handling the interested parties.

    just my 2 cents.

I myself would prefer a dior style cut with the green tab of course.

  7. I have never had plastisol cracking be a problem. I mean I know it does after some time but I never really thought of it as a problem,

waterbased stuff is good but I assumed that you were using the textile ink that the cheap silk screening sets come with.

and we all know what happens when you assume..

  8. look for AA.

also Gap makes some that arent that bad

there is one CM one that I saw recently that I would like to get my hands on.

its called the black n white although it comes in a few colors.

not to hi jack but I want the grey/black in a M if anyone has one.
