I just tried to buy something from Cpoint and it got rejected because my creditcard is one not from japan
They told me I had to send to their bank account which costs a good 40-50$ to send across.. argh..

hey i just wanted to check before ordering..
I'm wearing a 30" waist in RRDS which have now stretched to about 32.5 which is what my 'true waist' measures.
What size should I get in s5000bk? 29 or 30?
thanks

Here are the measuments from Selfedge. As you can see the 32 is actually 33 inches across the waist. The denim will shrink in the waist but after about 30 wears (more like 5) it will stretch out an inch again. Go with the 32

Hi, yeh the person I quoted was Kiya from Styleforum.net.. but is on this board too? I think he is involved in running SelfEdge. Thanks for all ur help, they look like a good pair of jeans :-)
I hope I get the right size .. 32 does look like the go from the text on the site.

True to size. Also, when you get the 380s they will seem huge before the soak. Don't worry, they shrink up nicely.
I know you said true to size.. was just reading a thread on another forum and they said..
"Go up one tagged size from your measurment, cold soak them for 45 minutes then let them air dry.If you've got a lot of room when you get them do a hot soak instead ... They shrink quite a bit."
I think my waist is 32.5.. so I guess a 33 will be the go?
PS: thanks for the help guys

^^ throw those out first, then get the 380's.

What is the sizing in the flatheads f380.. true to size? 32 for a 32 waist?

Hey hey..
I am looking for a new pair of jeans.. would really like some recommendations. I bought a pair of Nudie RRDS but didn't like the fit. I don't want anything too slim.. it doesn't make me look good heh.
My fav pair of jeans are GSTAR Core Custom .. pic is below.. (not of me).. .. Just wondering what you guys could recommend. Price maybe up to $300. Just want a nice new pair to add to the collection.

hmm seems many ppl must put up with some damn tight pants. I had some Nudie RRDS and they just didn't stretch(as much as i needed).. so crappy having a pair of pants that even after a couple of months you gotta have the top button undone when u sit if u wanna be comfortable.
They were a size 28. My Gstar (fav pair) are 29.. so.. go figure?
*I* still believe, that if where I wear my pants = 32" .. that I should downsize from THAT.. not from my size 29 jeans (which measure 33"). Cos' I did downsize one size, and I shouldn't have. Now I'm selling those. Imagine downsizing TWICE to 27.. geeez.
THIS IS INSANE .. hehe.

i think the general consensus is size down 2 for NS or even 3
Yes I was just making sure from my WAIST measurement. Someone else on another forum asked me what the tagged size of my jeans were. The tagged size of my GSTAR jeans are 29 but actually measure 33 on the waist.
They said to get a 27 in APC, since that is sizing down 2 from the size of my other jeans :/
I thought I should do it from the waist, not other jeans.

hey, I measured my waist with a tape measure.. it is 32"
What size APC NS should I get , 30? I don't want 'too' tight either.

Thanks for ur input
29 around the waist fit nicely, but i got a 28 which I can just get the button done up.
I tried it with another pair of shoes and actually and cuffed it up bit over an inch to give some idea of what it looks like shorter.

With my other shoes which are much lower to the ground it wouldn't be as bad anyway. And if I wanted to lose some length...wash at 60 degrees and not stretch?
Which jeans do you find fits over ur sneaks well?

What about Dry Nudie jeans in Melbourne? A couple of the jeans shops say they don't even order dry ones in... they had one dry Straight Sven - but they said that it arrived by accident.

What bout regular ralfs over slim jims?

Thanks for all the responses guys and gals
I have tried on some Regular Ralf's.. am gonna go back with my gf to see what she thinks.
IN regards to APC New standard raw ... I have called a couple of shops here (Melbourne, Australia) - these shops are _THE_ shops for jeans (nudies diesel etc etc).. they hadn't even heard of APC heh.
If there are no stores, are you guys ordering from the net or what?
My gf usually takes her camera everywhere she goes, so I might get her to take some pics and I will paste for comments
