Jim the all the LVC models before the 1937 model all have exposed pocket rivets and crotch rivets. I like'm.

These were last years models. They're always limited and usually hard to find. Aero Leather in Scotland usually stocks LVCs in raw also.

Also check out the so called 1890s jeans he's selling. Belt loops, no buckle, no suspender buttons....Also these 1890s sould be pre red line and the red Levis tag didn't show up until mid 1930s.

Everything before the early 1930s should be 10oz. My 1933s from a few years back are 10. My 1901s are 10 as are both pairs of my 1920s.

Theres allot of bogus levis stuff on e-bay. Ya gotta be careful. Just one example.
Double needle arcuate and funky side straps.....Same seller has another funny 1930s listed. 0 transactions....

If they were my size I'd probably jump on'em. Nice 10 oz denim. Kinda loose and light weight for anyone looking in that dirrection.

I was under the impression that the little e didn't appear till the early 1970s. Isn't that correct? So if that is true I'd be very skeptical.

Raw those gotta be some of the UGLIEST jeans I've seen besides those winged suckers. For about 150 you could score a nice pair of 1933 LVCs raw on e-bay. I got a pair of 1937 501s a year or so ago on e-bay for $180

I think I remember something about little e in the 70s and wide looms in the early 80s? I'm sure Paul T could shed a little light.

I think they should be selvege? Didn't Levis switch to larger looms in the early 1980s?

02 Evisu
Huge hit in Europe. Appeal with hipness.
The one and only originals reflect Hidehiko Yamane's uniqueness.
Evisu, known for their painted gulls, is getting a lot of hype in Europe. As if to ridicule other brands who were faithfully reproducing vintage denim, they have been releasing products full of originality since their debut in '91. It is well known that unique jeans reflecting Yamane's idea of vintage-ness has already influenced European designers. It can be said that they are the instigators of the current denim-craze.
If thats hep count me out. To me those are some butt-ugly jeans....Can't take those wings.

Back-Pocket Rivets!

I do like hidden rivets 27 201s and 37 501s but I think my favorite jeans now are my 20s 201s. Gotta love that blue/green line denm and not many folks have jeans with that color denim, crotch rivets. pocket rivets and those awesome blackened donut buttons.
