Question has anyone picked up the new limited edition type I 213 jacket? Look pretty good to my eyes and I'm thinking of it. They only made 800. My experience with LVC is usually about 10% shrinkage.

I like the 213 jacket. I have a recent Japanesse made 53 type II and it is really nice. Has fuzzy denim a lot like my cone made 1955 501 have. Dr H, I to have a 555 Valencia St made 20s 201s and I agree they are really nice.

Levis has them in stock. https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/levis-vintage-clothing/levis-vintage-clothing-for-men/1955-501-original-fit-mens-jeans/p/501550079

Yeah me to. I sold all of my fight jackets except a USA M444. Really big on me now but I still wear it ha ha.. I'm with you on the denim.

So good to see you around. You still post over at VLJ?

Jake if you are indeed the one I know it is so good hearing from you. Grant to. Lotsa water under the bridge. How the heck ya been? I heard from John Chapman that Paul Sanders died a few years back. Keep in touch .

I usually doin't like pre distressed (though I do own some ha ha). These 1922 501 Ragtops have been a fav of mine since I bought them in 2014 IIRC. I wore the sh*t outta them for years. Also washed them more than I usually do because they were pre distressed and not raw. They have never been tight on me even when I was a lot heavier. Now they are very baggy on me but I still love wearing them because they are just so comfortable. Size 36/34 and I used to wear 38/34. If I were to buy them again today I would buy 34/34 of even 32/34.

Grant she did a great job.

BTW Jake I picked up a type II LVC trucker this year and also a pair of recent 37 501s (both made in Japan) that are both really nice. I caught them both on sale from the Levis site.

Hi Jake, Are you the Jake that moved out west from Chicago?
-
Thanks Grant. Good to see you still around and posting. Your 47s and 33s look amazing BTW.

I no longer own these but here are some photos of the 1911 333s I owned. These were pre-distressed and were at the time rare. LVC has reissued these in raw just recently.

20 year old 1933s Top mail button replaced with Levis button. Original broke. Crotch fixed. Not quite as cool as Grants but not to far behind.
