Anyone interested heres a link to the Levis site and the current 1922s https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/made-in-japan-1922-501-original-fit-mens-jeans/p/A44100003

Hi all, Just picked up a pair of the new 1922 501s. Date code is the 38 week of 2024. They just arrived. Here are some of my first thoughts. The denim Japanese denim is really nice. Rougher /more textured than the 1937 Japanese denim ones I picked up last year. The fit is baggy. Really full in the thighs and seat. The rise is also high. I really like the white line selvedge on these. I usually just wear raw but I think I will do a cold 30 min soak before wearing on this pair. Size is 36/34.

I have a question for all those out there. Has anyone bought the latest 1922 501s? I was wondering about sizing. I read that they run very large. Anyone have any experience with the Japanese made Japanese denim model that is being offered now? And is the denim the same as the denim on the Japanese denim 1937s? Thanks in advance.

Did anyone here pick up the recent 1920s 213 type 1? Here was the link. Sold out. Only 800 were made. Just curious. I almost bought one. https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/levis-vintage-clothing-mens-1920s-lot-213-jacket/p/001L60000?srsltid=AfmBOopzco47880Ipp9H0Wd6j2b2_odwkeuSW1cyBkD3WqQo1qCV1dft

Yes the 55 and the 53 type II are also hairy. Very nice denim.

Current LVC 1953 type II trucker. XL tagged size 44. I have a pair of LVC US made Cone White Oak 1955s and the denim of the current Japanese denim on the 53 type II is very close to the dark fuzzy Cone denim on my LVC 1955 501s. I also really like the T back.

Heres my 1953 LVC type II at about 8 months. still raw. Size XL. Marked 44 on the label. The Japanese denim is very similar to the fuzzy denim like my 1955 501 cone. The color and texture are very close to the 50s LVC Cone denim. I think Levis still has XXL (48) also.

Some Japanese made Japanese denim 1937 501s. New last Nov. A couple of cold soaks and a lot of wear. 36/34
